Next month gonna be 1year I bought my Lil gold money maker. saw your first review on it and a few others from other artists everyone seemed happy withi it been using it pretty much all time doing line work and packing black and color can't beat the price their batteries are amazing

I have ambition torped (i buy it 3 mounths ago and find out about it by watching your and other people videos )is great machine and i found one new cheep from ambition ambition shura, similar price as torped comes with 3.5 and 4.0 stroke and with motor like in ambition soldier..I want to pushcharge tahat too .. recommended to check that machine it have better stability and its more quiet..

Love this machine for linework have trouble packing color with it though any suggestions as far as cam and voltage TIA
I agree awesome little machine ......I have 4.5mm cam fitted which I use for everything lining , colour packing and shading ......depending on needle size I am anywhere between 7.2 and 8 volts pal and machine packs with ease buddy 👍👍👍

I just have a question about the motor, because there's nowhere an information, about the motor & how many Watt he has got - which is very unusual if he is really that powerful..
what would you think, from your experience - which range could it be ? 5W?

Hi I couldn't say what the motor is all I know in the 18mths of use it's been awesome......the brushless motor is awesome and power friendly couple that with the 4.5mm I have fitted and you have no problems with the machine 👍👍

I have the 28mm version. It's been a great machine so far. I got about 6-7 hours from the larger Kuark battery. I didn't notice any power loss as the battery depleted. It just ran full power until it was done.
The high pitch noise It makes on start-up really bothers me. I know it's supposed to but I don't like it. Does the larger Torped (33mm) do that?
Hi they are great machines I have the short kuark batteries and get between 6 to 7 hrs no probs from them I don't have any noise on start up I do have another video about the torped which show a couple of things to look for have you pulled it apart and lubed the plunger end as they are shipped dry and sound awful 👍👍
I think the start-up noise is exclusive to the 28mm one. The listing for it said it has a "unique starting system" and would make a "creaking noise" on start up and it doesn't impact performance, and it doesn't seem to so far.
It's just a high-frequency electronic sound, like in a hearing test that lasts about .5 to .75 seconds, then the motor starts and the noise goes away. It's not just the noise that bothers me though. It's also the slight delay before the needle starts to move. The 33mm one doesn't seem to do it in the videos I've seen, so I'm thinking about getting that one too.

I have a question: i bought the torped and changed the cam on 5mm. I noticed that the diameter of the 5mm is much smaler than the 4,5 and 4mm cams wich are both the same diameter. Do you now why that is so?
Hey you are welcome 👍👍 I don't know why the diameter is smaller to be honest .....I did have an initial problem where the plunger on the 5mm cam was shorter than the 4and 4.5mm cam were so I contacted ambition and they sent me a new 5mm cam and all was good ......5mm is a very powerful stroke I use the 4.5mm and it will line no probs with a 14 round shader 👍👍👍

Andy I still find it way to punchy to get the smooth shades even with 4ml stroke
Any tips to get it better would be appreciated
it can be be as it has a strong stroke along with been a direct drive too.........easiest way i found to start with was to draw my needle hang back in so not as much needle out also use a very light touch along with dont just shade in one direction use criss cross technique and slowly build into your smooth shade ....hope this helps
