I was loving how simple this was. I did feel it was criminal using crap particle board on that gorgeous table! On the wheels I was surprised you didn't just tac weld the wheels? Later on I hope after watching this video I can build a table like this. Big plus when you show how you welded this beautiful table and didn't need an expensive welder to do the job. Amazing job sir!

Great video, I'm getting a little welder for father's day and I want fix my current woodworking tables (3ft each) they can't take the weight. This game me the idea to make at least one small one for welding. Or maybe just build smaller ones to move around.

Nice table, I'll probably build one very similar but that's a little more dead tree than I'd be comfortable with around a welder. I'd probably swap it out for light sheet metal or expanded metal grating.
I have NEVER seen anyone use Wood on a Welding Table!!! But, when you Weld while being half Naked, then what the hell, right. Might as well live toatlly on the edge
nice, but in my opinion you should separate the table from where you put the welding machine, grinders and all the other stuffs, since you grind on your table, so you will have metal powder falling on your welding machine and on the other things u put under your table and that's not good
Awesome job until you put the wood on it. Should have only used metal. I have seen a few where for some reason they used wood. One caught their shop on fire around 3am. Nothing left all burned. They did have security cameras that showed the bottom piece of wood smolder until it became a flame. They lost everything cause the owner used wood on part of it.

I didn't do this. I did buy steel 6'x6"x.25" and 7'x2"x.125" and that ran me after 4 cuts at the company 49 bucks. I'd like to get some tubing like this video and make a real table and not just a simple stand to do my little projects on. I don't know what the costs are in other places? I hope this helps a little.
Why not flipping the table top down when welding the top part to the feet ? It seems useless to weld the stick from lower part upward and having the melting steel drops falling when you can just do it in the opposite way and ensure the drop remains on the metal.
Mounting a vise to (2) slots on a welding table is not a good idea. Just an FYI. It should mounted to a piece of plate 1/4" should be fine then bolt it/ weld it and that way it helps distribute the weight over the whole table. Again just FYI

Yes, I was shocked! No TIG, no Lincoln MIG, no bandsaw! Used ARC and a hand grinder. Shows anyone can DIY this for sure! Very relatable, well done!
Simple table , very nice and economy to build . What is missing is material list and sizes . I mean like thickness of the profiles, sizes of profiles.
