I like this place! Love all of the nature areas so close by. I did not know about the Central Ridge of Florida--thanks for showing it on a map! Good to know where the high ground is, just in case . . .

Very helpful! Thank-you. We too are planning on a move to a 55+ & I have never heard of Citrus Hills. Your video , as pazsugarspice said, puts this community on the radar. I do wish they had some smaller homes, duplex's or villa's in the community though, as our goal is to downsize, not maintain a lot, going forward.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I think they have condo villas at Citrus Hills but not many and they are older. But they are building out a new section of homes so it's worth asking them about it. There is so much to research!
The place we are building is a stand alone villa and is 2 bed 2 bath with a bonus room (1700 sq approx) and located in the 55 plus area shown at end of the video. It is on a lot but the HOA for this area (Nash crossing) covers landscaping and painting of the outside of house every 7 yrs on top of the other community amenities so they are a bit more as a result but no outside maintenance required.
@@Chuck-g2d That's what we're looking for. That is, a smaller home with less maintenance & more time to play! We've lived in FL for 27 years & landscaping, repainting & maintaining was fun in the day, but now? Not so much!🥴I was prompted to investigate further & see that there are smaller models available. Our house in Nash Crossing (the showcase homes area) will be completed the end of May and we are looking forward to everything the area has to offer. The building process, while stressful, is now seeming not so bad. We were, and are, just anxious to get it done and enjoy our new home back in America....we are leaving california.
