This video may give that appearance as do others that film in out of the way areas in Ocala. This is one small area but the area surrounding Ocala brings in many thousands more to work in Ocala. Please do your homework before you consider moving here
Yes I am doing my homework which is why I am watching this video. I’ve lived in San Francisco, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami and trust me this is small town vibes compared to those places. I have flown into Ocala many times for work, I have a pretty good idea of the pace.
If you go to Ocala and don't eat at Big Rascals you are really missing out. You should also visit Silver Springs. This video is fine for people that like this kind of thing but you missed a lot of really cool places just because they are not in downtown Ocala.
Thank you for your input! I appreciate your concern about the crime level in Ocala. It's definitely an important topic, and I'll consider making a video to address it.
I lived here for 12 years from 98-10 worked plenty of jobs, microplastics, southern marble, Patrick industry's, havertys furniture warehouse there's plenty of work you have to be willing
Small towns are cute for a quick get away but to live for good I just can't do it. I don't want the small version of life where you see the same people and same business establishments everyday.
I moved here to stay with my mother after my divorce in 2019. Nothing but old people showing off their wealth. The youngsters here have no life experience outside of this boring place. I will be moving back to MD in 2025.
I move there for 2 years temporarily after my mom passed that shit is the most boring depressing no life shit to do place I ever been to suicidal sounds better than living here forever lmao thank god I left back to jersey
Looks lovely. I’ve spent so much of my life in cities, I am so ready for small town vibes.
I feel the same way too.
I grew up in NYC. This looks like my kind of place.
Not a small town

BEutiFUl city ocalA 🎉
Ocala has about the best offroad bike trails in Florida which is worth a drive.
This look like you filmed on a Monday morning, curious how much more people are out in the weekends
Try getting a parking spot even on a Sunday evening
Nice video!
We moved here 10 years ago and love every minute. Be sure to stop by the World Equestrian Center on your next visit. 🐴
I really appreciate your kind words! I'm so glad to hear you love living there. The World Equestrian Center sounds like a must-see!

No walking tour down Pine? 🤣
Afraid to ask what’s wrong with pine?😅😂

Pine is an old run down part of Ocala where the drug dealers and prostitutes are. Also a police station
Mejor que no haya trabajo yo no quiero trabajar estoy retirada
My only concern about Ocala is: How is the crime level? If you can do a video that addresses that issue, it would be of great interest.

I feel you! Small towns can be cozy, but sometimes you need a change of scenery.

Exactly my opinion. Boring, expensive, and offish folks.
Too expensive lonely and boring

@@itsrelativ3967 I grew up there and got out of there in 1990 after I got out of high school. I don't miss it.
@itsrelativ3967 no good jobs either unless you are your own boss or in the medical field. Barely any women, only close to death 😂 or 20.
