I am a Japanese bottle digger
Thank you for showing me amazing bottle digging
We always have fun look.
Those old Mudcat are everywhere! Great video brother!
I’m new to your Chanel I just went to say thank you very much for your time to explain I’m 62yrs young and just love the chanel
Thanks Jim! And welcome to the channel!
Stop look and listen and subscribe to this channel and along the way you might learn something new. This is by far the BEST informative bottle show on youtube !We love you guys!
theIncredibleMRQUICK I agree! He knows his stuff.
WOW! It's not the quantity but the quality of finds! That was a good hunt. Yeah , some people don't remember that you could get a
deposit back on soda bottles. That's how I used to get candy! Walking ditches you could find money.
Exactly!
Great videos I was never a bottle collector at all until I started looking at your videos, now whenever I am out at the springs or waterways I am always looking for bottles, while I am fishing
Love to hear that new people are getting into the hobby!
Not mud cats. It’s called treasure hunting. Bit like a gold rush. You find it and talk...they will come. Thanks for your videos. Cheers Gutshot
Great time after a rain ! Surprised to hear you comment about NY and people thinking that 80’s bottle was old ? Grew up in NY & did a bunch of great digging there , plenty of old stuff available , that’s where I caught the bug for bottles in 1973 😉 thanx for the video
Awesome!
I remember those bottles with the piece of Styrofoam that used to wrap around the bottle and you could tear it off section at a time and you're right, they made those particular bottles through the 1980s. Good old 1980s where the best times of my life.
I was born in 87 and I barely remember those bottles but to me they are definitely still considered new! Haha!
Your right they are new compared to what you guys dig up, but what I whould have to say time's where good for me being 20 yrs old in 1987and life was much simpler back then, so when I saw that bottle with that styrofoam wrap around it, certainly bring back some memories. Thanks for sharing your input.
Always fun to watch your videos, learn something new every time, great job .
Thanks Brandon, love walking the creeks....There like a treasure chest.......
No doubt!
the 1980s bottle comment made me feel old too but we still find those on top of the leaves in the woods
They call me mello yellow..lol
Brandon, you had some awesome finds! The creek may be cold right now, but in a month or two it'll feel great! Thanks for letting us tag along!
I shot this video a few weeks ago! It is now nice and warm haha!
I didn’t notice how old this was until I saw your face! Clean shaven. Hair short, four years less experience ! Fun! I’ll watch for the interest!
Don't stop your videos I look forward to them every week 😁
Thanks Jerry! They will keep coming!
That spoon is my pattern, 1881 Rogers Capri from Oneida.
Love your creek walking videos man! Don't worry about guys trying to hit your spots... You just gotta put in more time and effort than them. Busting out the snorkel and goggles to search those deep holes could be worth it!
Thanks Rob!
When you pulled the radiator piece up I thought it was part of a mammoth tooth lol!!
I wish!
I enjoy your videos very much! You and Clayton are like fascinating nephews or grandsons
Thanks Wanda! Its always nice to have extended family!
Great video I love watching you hunt down your bottles👍🤗 thanks from Scotland 🙏
Thanks Moria!
Another awesome video...always look forward to them...you might have to put your truck at decoy creeks or have your friends put your sticker on their vehicles...to keep the bottom feeders confused...good luck...
Ya we are getting a bit more sneaky for sure!
Great video Brandon. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Spike!
Thanks for another great video. I really like they way you show days like this. Not super finds but informative about the creek rising and dropping in levels. Keep them coming.
Thanks Don! Not every day is a winner thats for sure!
You found some awesome bottles. I’ve never hear of coca lula before. Terrific video 🦉💜
like your videos....I got old, I used to explore the creeks around St.Louis,Mo and found lots of 'neat 'stuff. now can hardly walk, thanks again...thumbs up/subscribed
Thanks!
Awesome creek walk!
I'm just bout 2-3 weeks from gettin in water round here to try it ...Thanks!
Nice!
nice finds, can the flash cracks actually crack through over time? you never know what stresses the
bottles have gone through over time. it is so nice to see the pieces of history that you find.
There's a bunch of collectors that just pick up the foam label bottles, there actually the hardest to keep in good shape if you think about it man.
The bottles are such a great piece of history. I never knew how many soda types there were. Great video. I know what you mean about mud cats. They don't want to do the work, just grab the glory. Its been like that for centuries. I'm sorry you are being bitten like that.
Thanks Mary!
over 7200... 300 to go... that was a fun hunt. the "mudcats" kinda suck but im glad your here on TH-cam thanks for sharing
Thanks Troy!
Great hunt!! Awesome finds. Happy Hunting
Sweet finds great video again keep up the good work guys!!
Thanks John!
Good hunt. Is amazing what the forces of water does to a creek or river.
Take care guys
It really is!
I found an abandoned school full of old bottles and glass from the local factories from 1969-1980.
Rocking job in that Icy cold water too you aced it
Thanks!
Strange layer that those bottles are stuck in on the banks. Looks like a mix of clay and stone. Not the usual ash layer we all are used to
that's how it is all over . every dump I dig in well be hit by people who would not go there looking on there own . just a bunch of hole jumpers. and most are just looking to sell them.
great video as usual..cheers x
Thanks sue!
great video!
i finally made it out last week and only found a bunch of broken stuff. BUT it was good stuff, maybe better luck next time.
Just keep looking!
Love your videos! Awesome finds!
Thanks Michael!
Soup spoon. Jules from UK. Love you're video s.
Thanks Julie!
Great work lads nice creek to walk and work looking forward to seeing more,
Thanks for the upload 👍🇮🇪
Great finds!!
Thanks Becky!
Good hunt again keep on keep on regardless of the mudcats
Thanks MIke!
Maybe, if it not to late, you’ll just have to keep the camera pointed to the ground, or creek and let be like that. When anyone would ask me while I was metal detecting, I had two deep pockets and four other pockets. I’d reach down into the garbage pocket and pullout burnt foil, bottle tops, those openers on aluminum cans, beat up penny’s and say welp that’s about it. Good days are far and few. 🤣 👍🏻
New subscriber here. I love watching your videos!! I want to do this here in north Georgia. Thanks for your videos.
Welcome to the channel!
Another great creek walk. Thanks for sharing the hunt and finds. Its funny to think that in a hundred years that Mello Yellow bottle will be a cool find lol. Take care.
Lol no doubt!
you dont have to show and tell. that is part of the fun and game of hide and seak lol.
True 😂😂
Hello I am from Massachusetts and I love looking for bottles,i just have nowhere to look for them,so I go these videos, been watching since 6k since I am only 11 I can not do as much as you happy hunting.!
Your time will come! Just keep looking when you can and eventually you will find something awesome!
Awesome
I would take the ones busted on the top n cut top off n make glasses or candle holder
When you get an embossed bottle that's broken up near the neck. Cut it with a glass cutter sand the edges and they make great candles holders and sell well in the UK 😀
IT LOOKS LIKE A RIVER😳
Man, I so want to be able to find them like that, but we don't have that kind of area around here.
We just had huge rain storms and tornados up here in PA, I would like to try and get out there and find something this week.
I hope you find something great!
Niice 👍👌🏼
I had no idea that you had torpedo bottles in the US I thought that it was aUK thing 👍👍
Great videos, cool finds. hello from Vermont
Thanks John!
Do you wear sunglasses when you are searching? There are sunglasses that sport fisherman wear that really make it easy to see into the water, provided the water is clear. No glare at all.
Hello I’ve just found your videos and they are very interesting I particularly like hearing about drink brands I’ve never heard of before, It must be so relaxing just wandering along in the water with nature all around you there were bird calls I’d never heard before I wish I could identify and see them, I’m in the U.K. and you can’t throw a stone here without hitting something really old it’s a bit like living in an open air museum lol!, You might like a channel that I subscribe to it’s by a lady called Nicola White and she’s what we call a Mudlark she searches the banks of the River Thames in London and always finds something cool basically everything from prehistoric fossils to Roman and Victorian things including bottles at times too if you haven’t found her yet I can recommend watching her videos even if it’s just to relax with a cold drink while watching her, Her favourite thing to find are clay pipes dating from the Elizabethan era right through to Victorian times she finds a lot of them of different designs so pop along and see what you think, BTW I really liked that flask it’s very much of it’s time I think it’d look great on my kitchen cupboard lol!, Anyway happy hunting from an old Brit.
I have watched her mud larking! She is awesome! Thanks for taking the time to comment and welcome to the channel!
Nice hunt Brandon
Thanks Ralph!
Hello from Northern Arkansas
Hello back at you from Alabama!
Lol when I'm out scrounging around in dumps and stuff I got some door magnets made that read surveying and map company bright yellow and easy to read and I put a orange cone right behind the truck so if anyone sees ya they just think your working and the police dont think it's abandoned best place to hide is in plain site 💥💥
Nice walk. Creeks and rivers around me are all redone. Would love to do that more. ATB
A lot of the local creeks here have been rerouted too! We drive about an hour to get to this creek!
Awesome vid!
Thanks!
Good job as usual, pal... but man, they are blasting your vids with ads !
See ya on the next one
Thanks!
That's awesome, that's kinda how my dump is!
Very cool👍🏻😁wish i had places like that where i live
to treasure hunt.
Thanks!
Look out for points with so much wash out!
I wish I could find at least one in the creek this year!
@@adventurearchaeology look hard when you come to a bluff in a river

LittleJohn_MD 🇬🇧
Thanks!
How do you locate old dumps? Are they listed on old maps or just found by word of mouth? Love your videos just trying to figure out how to get into bottle hunting.
Hey Jimmy! I have an entire video on just that! Here is the link! th-cam.com/video/DEkF2MT5JlI/w-d-xo.html
To me; it's pathetic that people are still throwing garbage anywhere other than the correct locations.
Great finds, too bad there weren't more complete ones for you there 😞
Great video 👍
I have a bottle I found digging that the bottom is ten sided sort of an octagon it is from st. James bottling works minn. and the lettering is in a circle. Could you give me an approximate date on it?
Maybe when at at one of the places u go cover up ur Name on your truck so they don't know it's u looking....😇
I have a torpedo bottle. What did they contain.
How old were you when you found your first old first bottle?
Nice finds ! We are headed to hunt fossils in a creek on the 15th if you are interested .
Send me am email! Brandonn1987@gmail.com
@@adventurearchaeology Will do this evening , headed out the door to do some arrowhead hunting this morning .
Where is crown top creek located.
On the spoons you find, any idea how old? Any silver ones?
No silver sadly. Probably at least 100 years old.
Adventure Archaeology Old. No silver= bummer!
Like buddy and subscription! Finds are super! With fiery iron greetings from colleagues from the glorious city of St. Petersburg!
I hope for mutual subscriptions!
How do you date coke bottles
I’ve got a video on that! Check it out.
Did Coca-Lula ever get sued for copying the Coca-Cola logo?
They did!
11:12 I found that bottle before but then trew it away because it was madern
Your not going to find it all even if your the only one who knows about the dig site. You will find what you were meant to find. That's why when I invite people to my dig site I let them keep what they find even if it is something I have been looking for...I just ask to see it before it goes. If I invited people for a privy dig I'd let them keep what they found at their turn. I'm not saying your wrong I'm saying I don't hoard my sites. Prob half of your blood cats don't know how to find sites. Your helping them learn. Isn't that the point of your videos...learning?
Kevin If I invite someone to dig with me they keep what they find but thats not the point haha! I havent invited the people that I am talking about. I do like to educate but the reason I do that is so that the viewers can find their own locations.
The very same thing has occurred in the beach metal detecting world....If you're going to be on TH-cam, it's a catalyst for the wanna be cherry pickers....Ces't la vie....😂
Awesome creek walk!
I'm just bout 2-3 weeks from gettin in water round here to try it ...Thanks!
