Just to clarify something here, for anyone who's travelling to Greece and wants to ride horses. I'm from Greece and I've been in different kind of places/facilities with horses and worked with horses. I just want to let you know that most places don't train their horses responsibly and they also mistreat them a lot. To me, the facility there looks like a nose to but trail ride facility. Do not support places like these, most of the time (especially in island) these places charge you like crazy(and also treat their horse poorly). It's much more convenient to go and ride in a more professional facility is usually cheaper and you get a much more enjoyable experience and their horses are much happier and healthier. Good riding facilities do exist in Greece but you'll have to be very careful with choosing where to go. I'm not hating I just want to spread awareness 😊
@@gloomy2617 I found a lovely place in wales (ik it’s not about Greece but if anyone is planning on going to north wales it’s a very good place) and it’s also a riding school! The ponies have breaks in between rides with food and water and only do a certain amount a day (they are untracked when finished) and it’s very sweet, all the ponies are happy and well behaved. One of the horses was thought to have a problem so we stopped to check it and it was ok for the walk on the beach :))
Ahh finally it’s been forever. When u said they didn’t get taught any leg I kinda got mad and when that guy just like, I think it scared the horse and then he started like running.
that horses withers look a bit high to me.Theres a chance the horse hasn’t got a fitted saddle.Dont come at me as I barely even looked 😅!Also be careful where u go,some places don’t treat their horses correctly!

Where did you ride in Zakinthos? Was it at 𝚗𝚊𝚗𝚊’s horses or was it at the riding centre between Kalamaki and Laganas (on Kalamaki beach)? Only asking as these horses look well and happy!! ❤
I wouldn’t of gone there if I were you the tack seems ill fitted and the horse is wearing a halter with a bridle and your horse will not respond to steady because it’s a horse from Greece who has no concept of the word steady
I wouldn't have gone there either. It's because it's most likely a tourist attraction. They don't care about the horses well being, all they want is the money because they know that tourists will see horses and want to ride there because it's either cheap or they advertised it better then it was. The reason the horses weren't taught properly was because they do not care about the horses well being and weren't bothered to train them correctly and took the "easy" route to training them. That's why you should always do your research on a place instead of going there because it was cheap or because there were horses. You are paying them to keep doing this.
