Lake Chelan Camping ( FREE secret spot )

Lake Chelan camping is extremely popular, hard to reserve, and expensive !
Want to go camping at Lake Chelan in the summer ?
Forget about it !!
The area is so popular among locals, and visitors that camping spots are reserved weeks ( or sometimes months !! ) in advance !
( Even though Washington state camping reservation system allows to reserve spots up to 9 months in advance )
Even during the week it's hard to find any camping spots near Lake Chelan.
Plus, the reservation systems can be a bit bewildering. Reservations aren’t accepted for every campground - while most state park campgrounds accept advanced reservations, most national park campgrounds do not.
Not only it's hard to find a camping spot on a day of arrival, but it's also quite expensive ( comparing to most camping around Washington state ).
A night at the popular Lake Chelan State Park will cost $25-45 a night !
But even if you manage to score a spot at one of many lakeside popular camping sports, it's super crowded, noisy, with very little privacy.
So, does it mean you have to reserve your camping spot months in advance, and pay high prices just so you can spend a night or two sleeping under a tree ?
Not necessary !
