Loved the interview. So heartbreaking to see a picture of Stanley when he was young and realize what happened to him later in life. Glad to see Tiger still going strong.
My favorite episode was Beaver and Whitey and the steaming soup billboard. Wonderful interview. Thanks for posting this, Bryon. Still watching Leave it to Beaver reruns on MeTv.
Just went to the Leave It To Beaver Reunion in Gallatin, TN and Met Tooey. He was Wonderful and a Pleasure to Meet. Such a all Around Great Show and will forever live off the Reruns.
Yes that was Stanley Fafara on Dennis the Menace (1960 episode "Dennis by Proxy"). The two shows were on at the same time and even ended the same year (1963)
I loved the early seasons with Tooey and Chester. They filled out the cast and did a terrific job. Eddie and Lumpy were also great-I'm not taking anything from them. Whitey was also a wonderful character; he had that little smile that was sweet and mischievous. Terrific interview-so sad that Tony passed.
About Johnny Carson, I remember he hosted a show called Do You Trust Your Wife (later called Who Do You Trust.) I really enjoyed listening to your Tiger Fafara interview, and absolutely loved Leave it to Beaver. Hope to find more of your Leave it to Beaver videos and interviews. I recently got through watching the entire Beaver series from the very first episode to the very last one.
What a great interview with a wonderful man. I'm really enjoying these interviews and learning more about the people behind the LITB and the NLTIB characters. I'm hoping you can get interviews with Buddy Hart (Chester), Ellen Maxted (Gert Haskell), and Keri Houlihan (JJ Rutherford).
What a great interview! Really enjoyed this. Luke was such a gracious guy who gave such an interesting perspective about all the characters that we love.
Wow!!...I was just watching the episode last night where Tooey, Wally, Beaver and the gang made that canoe and they made Beaver test ride it in that pond.
That episode had great editing and the fact that the mannequin's shoe fell off made that shot more difficult to finish. I've always wondered if they only had the budget for one take to get it right?
Thanks for doing this interview; this was (and is thanks to that spot in my heart it still keeps) one of my favorite shows ever. And both Tiger and nis brother were a big part of that. So cool go hear his voice again avger so long and get a cool behind the scenes view. Sorry for what you, your famiky and your brother went through with your brother's rougher times in life, but I am glad at least he was able to turn it around in the end. God bless.
Glad you enjoyed it! I did interview Jeri Weil (Judy) and still have to edit it. Currently am in talks with Richard to get that done. If you haven't yet, check out the Leave it to Beaver Fan Club on facebook. There, I have interviews with Stephen Talbot, Tony Dow, Jerry Mathers and more!
Hi Sylvia! My interview with Jeri Weil has been up for some weeks now, along with Stephen Talbot! My interview I did with Jerry Mathers in 2019 will also be posted very soon!
great interview! thank you. except for eddie, tooey was my favorite of wally's friends. i like tooey even more than lumpy. as tooey, luke just had a great line delivery. he just seemed like he was that character. except for larry, whitey was my favorite of the beave's friends. as whitey , stanley just had that childhood energy and enthusiasm in his acting. like luke, stan was just a natural. i am glad that whitey was on the show for its entire run. i wish tooey had hung around. tooey could have been a nice point-counter point to eddie.
The funniest Tooey moment to me was when Wally’s date stopped over to show Wally her dress and Tooey was there with Chester or one of the guys, but the camera closed in on the look Tooey had on his face when he was looking at the girl. The look on Tooey face was like he found a Playboy magazine. It was hilarious.
I love both Whitey and Tooey. They were both *vastly under-used* on LITB. They should have been in hundreds of more episodes each, and Whitey should have replaced Larry after they kicked Rusty Stevens off the show for having a stage mother.
Unfortunately, Ken Osmond passed away in the middle of setting an interview up with him. I did interview his sons, Eric and Christian. All the interviews I did are posted at the Leave it to Beaver Fan Club on facebook. I talked to Pamela Baird, Stephen Talbot, Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers. I also talked to Jeri Weil (Judy), which will be posted soon. Hope you check them out! :)
Jerry Mathers did appear in I Love Lucy. The episode is Ricky’s Old Girlfriend. There’s a dream sequence where he is little Ricky as older kid sitting on her lap. Check it out.
@@georgemallory401 Incorrect. That was not Jerry Mathers. Jerry was much older than the boy in that episode at that time. Jerry (whom I know personally) has debunked this many times.
Contrary to popular belief, no, he did not appear on I Love Lucy. The kid that many think is way too young to have appeared on the said episode. Jerry has debunked this many times.
Great interview. I always thought he should have remained on the show
Great interview, I thought he should have been another Don knotts
Loved the interview. So heartbreaking to see a picture of Stanley when he was young and realize what happened to him later in life. Glad to see Tiger still going strong.

Still watching Leave it to Beaver reruns on MeTv.
What a wonderful treat with real people not full of themselves, class act Tiger.
very down to earth and enjoyable interview. Thanks!
Nice job Bryon!!

I'm sure you probably already know it but Chester became a stunt man when he grew up
I liked Larry Mondalo😅
I liked this kid on the show,he was a plus ,he was funny n likeable

Me too! Tremendous let down after season 6 completion. I feel I could write a thesis on the show.

I really enjoyed the interview,I would like to see other characters get interviewed, like Judy,Chester and Larry and Richard and others.

According to IMDb, Ron Howard also appeared in that Dennis the Menace episode with Stanley Fafara.
Wow. Just wow
Tooey was so cute
Just hearing Mr. Fafara voice only he does not at all sound like an older man. He must be in great health.
The funniest Tooey moment to me was when Wally’s date stopped over to show Wally her dress and Tooey was there with Chester or one of the guys, but the camera closed in on the look Tooey had on his face when he was looking at the girl. Loved that episode
Johnny Carson hosted the game show Who do you Trust I believe
Dennis the menace began 10/4/59
Carson hosted the game show “Who Do You Trust”.
I love both Whitey and Tooey. They were both *vastly under-used* on LITB. They should have been in hundreds of more episodes each, and Whitey should have replaced Larry after they kicked Rusty Stevens off the show for having a stage mother.
I agree. Chester was also widely underused.
Them two were both very likable characters that didn't get as much time as they should have.
Johnny Carson game show: "Who Do You Trust". Ed McMahon was his announcer.
Tiger stayed away from drugs and lived longer. He was more conservative.
I didn't know whitey was his brother
Dennis the Menace started in 1961 I believe. That would be during Leave It To Beaver.
It actually started in 1959, and ran until 1963 (the same year Leave it to Beaver went off the air).
Did Wall, this guy or Eddie etc "get"any of the girls who acted on the show?
Unfortunately, Ken Osmond passed away in the middle of setting an interview up with him. I did interview his sons, Eric and Christian. If you read frank bank's book, lumpy got ALL the girls in real life!
Well, he is certainly the "one" who would say that he was.

Jerry appeared in a Halloween episode of Ozzie & Harriet
@cdgates1 This, unlike the I Love Lucy rumor is correct.
8:45 What did he call his sister!!!!
Does anyone know how many episodes, luke made?
19
Jason Alexander said he was impersonating Woody Allen in the first season of Seinfeld
Stephen Talbot wasn't there
Jerry Mathers certainly did appear on I Love Lucy. Please do your homework.
Contrary to popular belief, no, he did not appear on I Love Lucy. The kid that many think is way too young to have appeared on the said episode. Jerry has debunked this many times.
Dez fafara: dad
@perdanazhynatrya2786
Would you be Tiger's son?
Yeah and I'm the dumb kid!
