    I like your lift system. Simple and mechanical. I tinker alot as well. If you are going to be using it to grade with. Maybe add a trailer jack to each back corner with a wheel. So when you lower it you can take the pressure off one side and dig with the other. Love the build.

      Thanks! I actually traded this for a snow blower and then sold it. It was a little too heavy for my bad shoulder...and I picked up a factory Sears blade and liked it a lot better... Thanks again...

    Looks real nice and sturdy, what's the width of the blade?

      It is 52 inches - I think... already traded it to a friend (I've got a bad shoulder and got hard for me to lift)...

      +wkualum We have a metal recycling center in our town - you can go to most and buy scrap metal by the pound. They allowed me to go through what they had "in stock" at the time and they had just gotten in a bunch of the metal I bought - 40 pounds for $10.00 - had enough left over for another project and still have some...
