And now...2 years later I have made one for myself based on your design works a treat... Thank you for making the information available to all. You are the sort of people that make TH-cam what it is ...High Five
Wish you still made them, my dad has wanted a 3 point box blade, u til recently I showed him the unboxing of your new pull type now he wants one!! I would make one myself but I don’t have the metal nor the welding skills!! Have a good day Neil.
Neil I have recently found your channel and been hooked on everything you do. We have a lot in common with great minds think alike. I actually live in Sarasota, Florida, but grew up very close to wher you live.Which was just north of the reservoir on St Rd 1 north off roth road. I find that outstanding. I love fabrication thinks and enjoy the grader boxs and all that you provide. What mad you not make them anymore? John
The understand making a profit, so go for it! I'm just using a simple lever, using turn buckles to make the height adjustments on my blade and scarifier bar ( has teeth on it to bust thru the hard packed gravel) Once I made the adjustments, I can raise and lower it with the lever and it will go back to the pre-determined depth every time. I'm fortunate to have access to scrap steel from the construction company I work for so price isn't that much of an issue. My blade is a 1 inch thick grader blade so it should last a life time. It's amazing just how well it works and such a simple design.
Hi Rick. Thanks for watching the video and your interest but currently we are no longer building these box scrapers. I'd be glad to answer any questions on details of the scraper that you may have but we don't plan on building any to sell anytime soon. I should update the description on the video. Thanks.
Good morning, I really like your Grader Box Blade. Very well engineered, Could you please send me a "blueprint" so I can build one? Thank you very much.
I'm sorry but we no longer build them. Couldn't make any money at it even though they are fantastic implements. I have another video showing how to build one.
I don't have any plans available, but you're in luck. I am in the process right now of making a video that has a detailed description of the materials and measurements for building this box. It's a video "blueprint" so to speak. I will actually upload it tonight for viewing tomorrow. Drop me a line in the comments of that video and let me know if it is helpful. I appreciate you watching and for commenting. Neil
Yooooo thank you for reviling you’re plan on this project I will watch it for sure and give a thumbs up and recommend you to everyone I know that want to build one ☝️🙏🏽
Unfortunately we are no longer building them to sell Bobbly. Appreciate your interest. I did make a video showing everything you would need to build one if you look through the stuff on my channel you should find it. Thanks for watching!
If you want it three point put one of those bars with all the holes in it across your lower link arms then you will have infinite adjustment. I have both he's correct pull type gives much more precision grade
Well, actually the whole point of this style grader box is to eliminate the problems associated with a mounted grader box, in that a mounted box will follow the ups and downs of the tractor and make it difficult to get things actually level. The grading action of a pull type box is in my opinion, far superior to what can be achieved with a 3 pt mounted box. Now, the 3pt box certainly has it's place. They are great for moving material and pushing dirt backwards, etc. We have not build one of these as a mounted box yet. I think you would likely find something available at a local farm supply store that would do the trick. Thanks for your comment. We appreciate the feedback and discussion.
@@digdrivediy thank you. I have watched that one. May have missed the electric actuator. Saw the hyd cylinder. Actually have a 318 with hydraulics but may be rebuilding my current 3 pt blade i built to a pull type so i can use it with other machines. Thanks man. Great build.
Thanks for your interest Daniel. It is built out of 3/16" material. You can email me at nkoch1976@gmail.com if you have any further questions or want to know anything specific.
I emailed you about purchasing one of these, are these still available? Can the be modified to accept John Deere suitcase weights on one of the brackets?
Brian S Hi Brian, Thanks for the reminder to reply to your email. I sent you some info, but yes, I do believe we could add provisions for the JD suitcase weights. Thanks for your interest and hope to hear back from you.
@@richardrussell9063 I apologize Richard, but we are no longer building these to be sold. We weren't making any money at it. The description was updated in September to reflect the change in availability. I'm sorry for the misrepresentation. Thanks.
Hi Glenn. I'm glad you found this video and have an interest in the pull type grader box. It is a fantastic tool and if you ever acquire or build one you'll love it. Unfortunately we aren't building these to be sold any longer. Check out the description for a link to another video though where I explain the process for building one just like it. Thanks for checking it out.
Not sure if it will work so well in the mud. Not entirely sure what really would work too well in the mud for that matter. I'm sure it could fix up the trails when they are dried out. Depends on the consistency of the mud, meaning clay or silt how it tends to flow out from under the bottom of the box. Would be interesting to know how it does.
dwayne rogers We are still building these boxes. Please email me with any questions and I can provide more details. Thanks for your interest. nkoch1976@gmail.com

so I was just looking again for your email. and where you wrote "1976 tractor for sale" would be a great public place for the email address.. just a heads up. I think these will sell fast.
no prob. try to leave your email link in all you videos. I would have definitely rather had yours. looks like a awesome product... but I'll keep you in mind for the future.
Thanks. That is good advice and I appreciate the kind comments. I will try to make contact information more available. May I ask what you purchased instead?
Painter D - Yes, the price of materials may be less than the selling price, but also you can't build it for free if you wish to ever make any money. If you use the same cutting edge, actuator and wheels that we use, I assure you that you'll have more than half of what we charge in materials. Thanks for checking it out and taking the time to comment.
Just when I think you must be through all of my old videos, you find another! You must be nearly through them all! I've been very tickled to see your name pop up on all these!

Do you have one that lifts higher and works fast fir doing snow?
None that lift higher. never tried it on snow really. We don't make them anymore.
I am interested in a 60 inch model with adjustable teeth. How do I contact you?

i dont know if you have a video of that weight bar, but id love to see that
I don't have one but I plan to do a build up of a weight bar for my brother in law one day. Probably a winter project.
How much they go for
Unfortunately we don't sell them anymore. They were $1200.

I'm interested. Like the electric box, do you ever add ripping teeth I front of the blade.
Can I buy one?
We no longer build them for sale. A good alternative is the Northwoods fabrication box that I've featured in some of my videos.
Very nice box but can you build it to work with cat 0 3 point and if so how much would it be?
