Fantastic review with useful pointers ! Best review so far. Do you have the contact for the private tour to Chichen itza ? The hotel we are staying at is quoting a very high price !
About the xcaret .. did you book the package tour through the hotel or through any website? Is the price is for one person ? They pick you up and drop off at the hotel ?
We booked the package through hotel. There are different types of packages available. Basic offers entry into Xcaret, Xpectacular show is included(the best show. Don’t miss it), pick up and drop off. Another package offers food in addition to Basic. Another one adds food and lockers to the basic package. You can always add extra as per your needs. We took basic package at hotel and added some water activities at Xcaret. We also added photos to the package. The price is per person. The buses pick you from designated spots. Ours was at the hotel. There is only one scheduled time in the morning for pickup and 2 scheduled times for drop off. One is at 4PM and another at night.
You can get it from the bank. There is lead time for getting it from the bank. You can also get it from the currency Exchange counters at airport. The other option is to withdraw money at an ATM in Mexico. Processing charges and conversion rates may apply. Hope that helps 😊
Did you carry the stroller with you there ? Or you just rented the stroller there ? Another question do they want us to carry stroller for the public transport ? Thank you for the information you provided in this video .
@@Priya169in It really depends on how much time you would spend in the hotel and use those offerings vs going out for sightseeing. For me personally, I like to go sightseeing and hence did not go for the upgrade.
It’s really nice to know these things before planning the trip, you have clearly explained most of the things, thank you , one query I have is did you take travel insurance before going ? We are planning to book tickets thanks
@IjeriAshwiniVlogs What info/recommendation about car seats? I see you have little kids too. Did you carry car seats with you or rent them once there? Or not needed? On other forums, they're saying to be safe and either carry or rent car seats.
@@guitarchordz8621 We did not carry car seat because we took taxi only for Chichen Itza. We used public transport for all other places. If you are renting a car and driving around, you can add car seat along with rental reservation. But if you plan to use public transport, you don’t need car seat
It was not tiring because we had those strollers (they are very comfortable). So the kids took a small nap in it. So that helped. We did one water activity with the dolphins. If the kids are too small, the number of activities you can do together are limited. Apart from that water activity, we got around the theme park to see turtles, animals, birds, butterflies, some shows. The best part is the espectacular show in the evening. Don’t miss that
Yes. My daughter was 3 years old when we were there. Just make sure you take your own baby cart or rent a stroller there. It will be easy to go around instead of carrying the child.
Hello mam, I have a US visa and I am planning to travel, am i supposed to fill FMM and if so where could that be obtained, also for immigration check if at all they ask for proof,If I book a condo through airbnb will that be safe to show that as proof of stay or a reputed hotel is required?
@@dhruva3223 Hello, we did not fill any form to travel as a tourist. As long as you have US visa on passport, you are good. Airbnb is fine too. Just have the printout of confirmation and you should be good
We went there mid of April. The temperature was just right. I would suggest to check weather around the time you are planning your visit and plan accordingly.
@@IjeriAshwiniVlogs how was your experience at Xcaret park? Is it important to know swimming to get a good experience of the park? Is it tiring with kids?
@nehajussal9363 It was amazing!!! We did not get into too much of water activities.. just did the swim with dolphins 🐬 The water is very salty so wanted to avoid being in water for too long. We rented the cart and kids were very comfortable in it.. the cart also has storage space at the bottom. So put our backpacks there. That was a savior for us. They also slept for 2 hours in the cart. So were refreshed for next lap. The show is AMAZING!! Do not miss that!
Also, you will have life jackets on. So don’t have to know swimming to get into water. My kids do not know how to swim but were very comfortable in water
@IjeriAshwiniVlogs thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate your feedback. I was thinking of going to Chichen Itza too, but I am thinking of skipping that one because it will be super hot.
I've been to Cancun and now wish I had viewed your video first. Very accurate and helpful.

90% of the stores in Cancun accept USD. For 10% use you can take in Mexico only, so many counters to exchange.
Hi Nice video, want to know on which month you went to the mexico? Is it hot at that time?

How did you book the Chichen Itza private tour, was it offered in Grand Fiesta Americana?
