This can be downloaded for free if you do a Google search there is a page dedicated to it with all the files. It's not being sold anymore so it's freely available legally. Very good sim I purchased years ago.

Well I enjoyed seeing this, completely opposite to my flying experience lol... I did fixed wing for about 35 years, then helicopters another 5 maybe ( I really was going to start robbing liquor stores to support my heli habit....expensive !!!!!) then I found drones about 3 yrs. ago & been hooked ever since. I used to mow off my own runway 60 x 200' ft. now I'm too old to chase crashed shit so just land quads at my feet, thanks for the blast from the past Jay, still got every plane & heli hanging from the ceiling of my pout-house, as the old lady calls it. My 12 x 30 shop. Thanks Boss

My pops used to build helis and got the Phoenix RC 4 disc with the dongle and it was a lot of fun. Learned how to hover upside down a little, but was too scared to try it on the real thing. I guess my dad stopped flying them around at some point because I think you need a license to fly them around in certain areas, but I'd have to read more about that. We used to fly them at a quiet park when no one was around. 8 years ago I accidentally lost a heli over a forest area when the wind caught it. I was trying so hard to fight against the wind and bring it back but it just kept getting further and smaller. It was pretty depressing. Never did find it.

Woo hoo, my man Jay flyin' fixed wing!!!!!😀😆 I still get "dumb thumbs" so I build foamies, fly, crash, repair, repeat.😂 Most def a simulator to learn collective pitch, that could get expensive in a hurry!

Man you sure got that right !!! sims will save anybody thinking about heli's thousands.. I really figured Phoenix sim would be dirt cheap by now. Have FUN flying sir, I really can't imagine a better hobby

Another cool video nice. Have you ever flown a rc plane ? If not I'm sure you would be good at it. In my opinion they are kinda lame to fly compared to quads but fun in thier own way.

Still sad this was dropped. It was the best! Glad I own it still. You should link something to the free download page. www.rc-thoughts.com/phoenix-sim/ (be sure to read all directions) You need to download the emulator for the dongle. Company is long out of business. Completely legal to use for free!

@@BrGoBu Well.... some of us still own it since back in the day, and when wanting a simulator for my new PC, I gotta ask the question: Blow dust of the old Phoenix, og buy a new copy of Aerofly or Realflight?
To me, it seems Aerofly and Realflight are stuck in time, running with good looking 3D models of planes, flying in 2D photo realistic sceneries.
Thats exactly what Phoenix does. So thanks for a review, confirming that Phoenix still is relevant. This review, side by side a review of RC8 or Realflight 9.5 doesn't look all too different.
So this answered the question for me. It's worthwile to install that old Phoenix copy, once again.
