Great shave Jake! I got the soaps in today and the basil barbershop was the soap I used first. All of the scents smell amazing and appreciate that they aren't too strong. Like you mentioned, aftershaves and colognes should be prominent. And I will definitely buy a slant. I have my mind set on the Rex Sentry or Konsul. I have an aluminum Design 94 razor in rotation, but not a fan of lighter razors. Right now, the Blackbird ti, Drakkant ti and Apex ss are my top 3. Eventually, I will have a Timeless 95 ti too! Hopefully Timeless will have a decent Black Friday sale, maybe a titanium/ss slant. Have a great week!
I'm glad to hear it! I've spent a good deal of time considering which scents to offer, and for which formula to offer them in. Hopefully you like how they perform as much or more than how they smell! I'll be waiting for that very same Timeless sale haha I've had my eyes on the Timeless 95 open comb Ti for the longest time, but can't justify spending $300 on a razor right now. Maybe a holiday, my birthday, or anniversary, my wife will get one of the truly luxury classed razors!
Great review. Just got my Timeless Slant today. Just a quick question about the loaded edge profile. I assume it should look like it's off kilter because of the nature of the slant.
What a great razor. I hope you enjoy it! Seeing a slanted blade takes some getting used to, but the gap should be even across the entire blade edge. Though it’s slanted, the normal things to look out for still apply. Have never had my timeless slant misalign the blade in any noticeable way.
@@ColletteClassic I appreciate that. How much do I tighten the handle. It's hard to know with the rubber washer. Mine looks like it is slightly more gap on the right side of the bar as I'm looking down from the top. The appearance is the same on both sides so it doesn't seem to be by chance. It might also be an illusion as the blade is on a slant.
@@christopheratkinson635 I can’t comment on the washer as I took mine off right away. I tighten it until it feels solid, but not cranked down. The appearance of the slanted blade will take some time to get used to for sure.

Your video is reversed
Yea there have definitely been some growing pains with the “production”. Constant improvement is the goal!
@@ColletteClassic Nothing to do with the review, just thought you should know.
