I recently splurged and purchased the Timeless Titanium (Build your own). Went with the Scalloped base plate and Cap with the .95 blade gap. Choose the TRH8 Crown Handle. Polished finish and also the stand. Been using an Astra blade and let me tell you, what a fantastic shave. And this razor is a work of art! Weight wise it sits nicely between my Rockwell T2 and my Henson AL13. So now I have three great razors, for different situations. Much appreciate your videos which have really educated me as I progress on my wet shaving journey. Keep them coming brother!
My favorite is the ti95 as well. Great for head and face shaving.
If there was any feedback I'd give Timeless for this razor it would be the overhang. I love this razor but I have to be extremely careful around my ears.
I would agree with you. Three days of growth was the max I could shave with it. In my every other day shave cycle it performs well on my face.

I have used 3 Timeless razors. The TI .68 and both aluminum razors. They all give me great comfortable shaves. Usually don't like blade feel from my razor but the aluminum razor you are reviewing gives me blade feel but it is a good efficient, comfortable, smooth blade feel like I have never felt before. Even better then my Hensen razors. Maybe because I am an everyday shaver, I enjoy it more. It is so smooth and comfortable, it is the first razor I can get a decent 2 pass shave. I picked up the Timeless Bronze .38 at the meetup and will be using that razor tomorrow for the first time. By the way I waved to you while I was in line checking out at the meetup. Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk but, I was just so worn out at that point I left after checking out and had a 4 hour drive home to do. Have a great week. 👍

The price points for Timeless' aluminum razors is truly impressive, considering the quality of shave that they provide. I have the Timeless slant and it's most excellent. Just used it this morning. BBS with no irritation. I'm a daily shaver and it's by far the kindest to my face. Great shave and great shirt (as someone else said)!

Just started shaving with a cheap Amazon $10 special de safety razor after my wife was complaining about my hillbilly beard. I wasn't expecting to love it so much and get hooked so quick, especially with such a cheap razor. Another aluminum razor. It's interesting to hear that with all these light aluminum razors are very well manufactured and is extremely precise with the tolerances and bladegaps. I still enjoy my Henson ++ but I'm interested how this and the Henson + will differ. Nice shave.

Pulled the trigger on it. Was skeptical because the price in comparison to their other razors but being so mild, wonder how it will do on my neck. Otherwise, I really like my Blackbird Lite for every other day shaves. Kinda looking for something if im in a rush I can knock out a fast shave without thinking (since I'm new). The BB Lite I almost feel that comfortable but still need care around my neck.

@@OhioShaves Just wrapped up my first shave with it using a Feather blade, man you weren't kidding about how mild this is! That said, I like it and see a place for it in my rotation. All of my other razors get closer but this is a very practical shave I can meet a client with. If I am in a rush, I am reaching for this razor.

Great review. I have this razor, Henson mild and styletto smile. The timeless is my go to daily. It’s smooth and very efficient.

Great review. Appreciate the honest comparison! Sounds like a great razor for folks who don't have coarse hair. Definitely would be challenged by my coarse white facial growth, but possible could allow my to shave daily again.

It’s the only slant that I would recommend anyone to buy. First slant razor, I actually liked.

Fairly new and just started getting decent shaves with the Henson medium. Coincidentally I started looking at this Timeless piece just this morning. Perfect timing, good sir. Definitely looking to get something that doesn't have the forced angle so much. The cap of the Henson feels like it sticks if you try to do any buffing or anything without adding more soap. Do you get this feeling also? I don't really see anyone saying this. It's just such a large metal surface area dragging the face, so it makes sense why it sticks(in my mind). Wonderful shaves other than annoying feeling

I don’t feel it sticks to my face. You might want to try adding a little more water to your face when you’re lathering. If it’s sticking, it seems like your shave cream is too pasty. If that makes sense.

Woah, as usual a honnest review of the razor/blade pairing. Personally would be weary of this razor as the lack of weight (less that 1/2 the weights of the ones I have) could incite me to put more pressure than necessary. But still a nice video to watch, as always... keep it up. #ohioshavesTimeless

The lighter the razor the more pressure you need to apply. You need to find that sweet spot where the amount of pressing will not harm your skin but will cut your whiskers effectively.

How she's this compare to the Rockwell 6? I use mine on 5-6. Is it really worth getting? Or are they similar enough not to bother with an "upgrade"?
it's an inexpensive razor so yeah if you want another one and haven't tried an aluminum razor yet I would say go for it. It's gonna fall probably around the 56 plate in my opinion. Has a little more blade feel than the Rockwell.

Great looking razor, mild is my jam still since I have very sensitive skin. Wife got me the Henson AL13 as a gift and I love it. I really need to try out some more shave soaps, still just using Proraso, but I am curious how Tallow would treat me. #ohioshavesTimeless
There are a ton of great tallow based soaps and vegan for that matter. You will definitely notice a difference.

Great review, it seems like it would be a great razor for beginners and also for daily shavers.
PS: I think you were on point with the last part of your video, perhaps this razor is so gentle and mild that it would perform really well with a very sharp blade like Gillette Nacet or Perma-Sharp.

I like the backbone a little little bit better on the G5 C. But the golden neb is super soft. Kind of depends if you like more backbone or a super soft brush.

I switch it out every time to keep the same baseline because of this TH-cam channel. You need to change the blade when it starts tugging on your hairs and not cutting through them. This may vary from person to person.

I haven’t shaved with any other stainless steel razors yet, but I have with their titanium razors. The shave is a different shave obviously because it’s a different razor with different specs

HI Dave no pre-shave oil on that built up beard? What brand pre-shave oil seems best for you, got a walkway winner? I'm getting to know the Henson mild well and I can tell you while the perfect razor has alluded me I'm pretty darn happy. My biggest challenge is under the nose to mouth and beside the mouth moustache area. Soo sensitive somehow! Knicks are a inevitable unless going glacier like slow.
Do you remember the gizmos you plug in and heat up the shave cream for that barbershop hot lather shave? Well this works instead of that for me give it a try. You've got that hot water out of your tap piping hot right? Well ANY RAZOR get it good and hot under your tap, hot as you like it can't burn you. As soon as it starts to pull again yup back under a piping hot tap. For some reason expansion, tighter microscopic grain expands tighter in the blade, cleaner blade? Casing heats up skin before blade touches beard I don't know! But somehow I can shave above and around sensitive areas one heck of a lot easier/CLOSER. But it might not be for everyone especially in a steel razor, aluminum expands better than steel. Give it a try and if it works great! If it doesn't errmm good luck at the flea market trying to find those shave cream can heaters. They seem to have disappeared here at least. This is sooo much easier/quicker anyway! A lot of people shave with cold water. Everyone's a little different. I shave with Luke warm water.
