Joe is a great ambassador for the hobby and always has fun. Some of the rc TH-camrs are miserable and get really mad when things don't go as planned. Joe always keeps it fun and light hearted and that is how rc should be!
Install it backwards so you have selectable 2wd and 4wd. Dig is pointless unless you're doing comp. I ran mine installed backwards so I could switch between 2wd and 4 wd. Made it more fun for doing donuts and seeing how capable my rig was just in 2wd.
I am really enjoying these build videos. Almost like we're watching history be created. I like when you get in depth about the way everything works, all of your videos are great for wrenching along on my own RC.
This is a badasssss build build. I would not mind an hour long vid on everything you do to build one of these up. Gets me brewing up ideas for my Own builds. Great job man
Love it man I’ve been trying to get some of those carbon fiber wheels back ordered back ordered back ordered Ha ha ha story of an RC life keep up the good stuff thank you
I just came across this video. Thanks for Posting. I have this set up. How do I get a Mount for the Reefs99 like this? Where is sold? Thanks in advance for your help.
This build series is great. You could look at lighter spur gears like used in racing or aluminum gears for the trans to shave weight but still have strength
Another great video! Since you are going all out, have you considered a carbon motor mount and maybe fab a lowered dig servo mount? Fishcrawlerparts has the motor mount on sale 15bucks
Joe, this is an epic build. I just watched the SV1 vs SV2 showdown... wow! Quick question, (note: I'm not familiar with Axial... yet) what is the difference between the SMT 3 gear tranny and the one that come with the builders kit?
Whats the name of the Ebay seller ? I cant Find the SMT shop from your link for the Transmission ,a store called LM Hobbies shows up, Love these builds / :)
Thank you for the shout out 👍🏻
Great vid bud.
A half cab would knock some weight off too
I gotta have a bed on it. I’m not a fan of chassis hanging out on these things.
Could have a half cab but then fill in the rails with a light material like carbon fibre to have a flat bed
Yes
Your enthusiasm for the hobby is one of the best aspects of your channel. Keep it up.

@@michaelregan427 I hope I'm not like that. Hahaha
Joe really has an outgoing personality.....it definitely helps.
Looks like there's a shim stuck to the servo due to magnetism. Must shed all weight!
LoL yes there was!!

No man I love all your videos buddy. Glade to get to watch an learn man
Can't wait to see it run
Vanquish hurtz dig is awesome i love mine worth every penny 🖒🖒
You’ve inspired me I’ve decided to build one also!
Well awesome. All the parts and pieces are listed below.
That is epic. So awesome 😎.
Definitely love that dig hook up... awesome build.
Could you put on a slipper eliminator and reduce the pad/plate and spring weight?
Yeah sure can. I’ll have to see what it weighs in at to see if I want to do that.
Installing my second dig unit this weekend.
This series is so exciting!!!
Could not agree more
Vanquish dig is miles better than axial, but sliders are a must where I drive as if the body catches it will destroy the line your on
Right. I went without sliders on the Predator and it wasn’t that bad but I use them for turning sometimes.
Narrowing the belly pan for the flat frame rails. I wondered aboyt that. Great series bud!
Yeah man. Works perfectly
Great set up so far Joe, can't wait for more
need to use all titanium and the screw and nuts
Echo the comments in here. Really enjoying the series so far. Very interesting!
Cant wait for the next episode

Nice 👍
Keep doing what you're doing love to see the whole build process in detail
Can’t wait to see it done!
I love the videos like this

Yes 👌👍☝️✌️🎥🎥🎥
Hi
I hated the set screw! They need 2 set screws or a different design in my opinion..
Where did you get the micro servo mount for the dig? Would love to get one instead of using a full size servo
I traded another viewer, he had it.

Can this be used on the stealth X trans?
This build series is great. You could look at lighter spur gears like used in racing or aluminum gears for the trans to shave weight but still have strength
What made you want to use the SM10 transmission??
It’s a bit lighter than the 10.2 trans and I can put dig on it.
No way in hell I would much rather keep the weight with the steel gear versus plastic
I thought he was going for under 3lbs
I’m trying to get there but I want dig.
A hand plane might do a better job than a hacksaw for removing the frame rail pieces from the skid plate.
Hey love the Chanel have learned a lot. Have you done a video on top ten things to make scale crawler good if that makes sense
Another great video!

I have not considered a carbon motor mount but I am now!

The smt one can use a vanquish dig unit and the grey one can’t.
@@ExocagedRC Thanks brother! I'm learning! Planning to build my own version of the SV2. Appreciate the inspiration and videos!

Congratulations on the video, and that servo stand??. My dig vanquish didn't come with that one
