I think it may be a good chance the Empire might actually win if they gave lightsaber to the Stormtroopers instead of blasters. No seriously they keep missing with those !
Ozzel not only made an awful mistake, he made a mistake that not even a brand new cadet would have made! Heck, even a civilian would probably have known what happens when you try to jump out of hyperspace next to an enemy base! It was incompetence on a level that no military leader would even remotely expect, therefore Vader's reaction. As for Needa I must say that I like to think that the dark side of the force told Vader that Needa was more incompetent than one should think. I mean, he was the captain of a Star Destroyer and had no idea that Star Destroyers have blind spots close to the hull? He was probably not the most incompetent Imperial, but he still fell victim to the general imperial arrogance that you don't have to try hard when you command a Star Destroyer. However, if Needa had given Vader a professional assessment of the situation and had explained to Vader via transmission that the intended to send out fighters for a visual inspection of the blind spots of his ship then I strongly suspect that Vader would have allowed for Needa to live even if Han Solo had been able to miraculously repair the Falcon's hyperdrive during this short break.
Breeg2011 may have suspected Ozzel of rebel sympathies. When they find the base he tries to convince Vader that it's just some random smuggler outpost and then jumps in "Accidentally" alerting them and allowing the rebels to escape? At that point it's looking a lot like deliberate sabotage.
I never thought of that. I guess I always had the impression that he didn't want Captain/Admiral Piett to succeed. But then, maybe Piett ignored the chain of command for a reason other than his career?

I think with the help of Luke Skywalker’s force ghost Rey will be instructed to find the red kyber crystal that Luke had in TFA and TLJ and i believe that with the help of Ahsoka maybe through the help of a Holocron she made (because i doubt she still would be alive) could teach her how heal the crystal purifying it and making it white!!!!
