    Its great to see these chinese brands like Teclast or Chuwi improve their devices with every generation. I might actually be buying one of these as a replacement for my crappy Asus Transformer.. Thanks for the video Chris, great job, as always :)

    The large bottom bezel isn't a problem because when you type, if it were smaller, you hands would cover the screen.

      Sure is, feels quick for the spec. Speakers also a pleasant surprise better than expected. Do you have coil whine noise when it's 100% charged?

    • @gergely.racz.111

      not yet, i will test a few overcharge, and we will see if its a single time manufacturing issue or a model wide issue

      but I observed a bug, when i watch a video on the awesometube client, even on 720p, the startmenu and almost any animation is stuttering,
      but if i watch a 4k video on youtube inside any browser, nothing stutters

      Caost ok, i charged it to 100% when it arrived, since then i depleted the battery to 8%, and now its at 100% again for the second time, never heard any noise near the type c connector, nor from anywhere.
      But below the right palm rest it got warm while charging and copying a few(50) gigs of data

    If that is so similar in hardware with Teclast F7 Plus where is working on Mint, why you have problems on that one? Also most of the time is the linux community to blame when there is poor hardware support. I have ThinkPad with finger print that is still not supported by software.

    Would the lag in 4k be significantly improved by removing the stock power limits?

    • @alejandroperez5368
      @alejandroperez5368 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That lag he was talking about....also happens on my Lenovo Ideapad 700 with an i7 6700k and a gtx950m. I think it's a problem with Windows 10.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I tested it, it's marginally better. But think seem 4k60p is too demanding for the N4100 to be 100% smooth. WIth low desktop visual settings (fastest) It's much better. But chrome as a little scrolling lag. It's useable, jsut not perfectly smooth which is annoying.

    • @xemy1010
      @xemy1010 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For these Celeron chips, stick with Edge for the smoothest browsing experience (scrolling, video playback, etc). Chrome really isn't optimised for this kind of hardware IME, and simply not necessary unless you're using an extension that isn't available on Edge.

    chuwi se seems better. for just typical tasks 4gb of ram is enough.

      Yeah after using the F5 for 4 days now I find the keyboard a bit too small. The touchpad and keyboard on the SE is the best yet for the class. The F5 is a little more fluid but for basic needs the 4GB works fine. I'm running 10 Chrome tabs with no issues.

      Per ora ho visto solo recensioni positive sul f5, ma non complete come quelle di questo canale, se puoi aspetta la recensione completa e giudica tu, pare che il vero difetto sia la batteria, però secondo me per l'università poter usare un pennino con cui poter scrivere sulle slides o in generale sul tablet senza usare carta è molto comodo e smart, io lo faccio col galaxy note 10.1 2014 e mi trovo benissimo

      Battery life as expected isn't the greatest at 29Wh, it gets warm to the touch on the bottom when pushing it hard gaming.

      @@bpestanabastos how does it work if the max output is 1.5A. it wouldn't charge. Mine didn't charge my F5 or mi notebook.

    I hate it when you review units with protective film attached

      I had it when I buy tech and it later scratch it up and resale value is terrible. If you supply the review unit I'll be happy to remove the screen protectors :)
