  • #BusterKeaton filmed beside his small studio and all across SoCal, even near the Arden Grocery where he and Roscoe Arbuckle made The Hayseed years earlier. Beautiful custom score by Michael D. Mortilla, links below - click SHOW MORE

I truly enjoy these videos so much. Getting to recognize streets I walked when I lived in LA in these classic movies is so special. Thank you for all your excellent work.

As alway, thank you so so much Mr. Bengtson, assuming this would be put into another video release of Sherlock Jr. hopefully the UHD. Now if I could ever get to LA, would certainly go visit that plaque for the Buster Keaton/Chaplin studio.

Bravo! Fascinating! Buster wasn't shy about traveling far for a good location.

Fascinating as always and I can't resist pausing the video to examine it more closely. Always makes me sad though to know the original Keaton/Chaplin studios are long gone... what a landmark.

Great job, as is to be expected. Ive actually got to know the landscape of LA very well over the years due to your film history detective work.

Amazing work. I just went to the BK Studios last weekend and I guess inadvertently parked in front of where the One Week church steps were lol. Also just got your book and it’s incredibly detailed and excellent. And I can’t believe that I used to drive over those train tracks in Placentia all the time!
Can’t believe you can find all these locations!

Seriously, I am always amazed at the degree of your research, and the work you do to make these videos. I would NEVER be able to pick out these locations even if I was walking down that street.
    Bravo, Mr. Bengtson.

Inspiring, especially for us who are trying to do similar film-archaeological projects in Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman's Stockholm.
