Gemmy PROTOTYPE Poker Frogz - “The Gambler”

A collaborative restoration project The VDC Tech Guy and I worked on. Boards are not my main area of expertise, so while I worked on the cosmetics, he brought the EPROM back to life.
This frog was likely made around the time the other two Poker Frogz were made, the item number is 32582 which falls right before the Love of Money ones. (32583-32584) Either Gemmy lost the rights to use this song or the frog never sold to any retailers, thus, it was not added to the World Tour checklist and went unreleased.
There is also no intended head movement on this frog- it has the same mech as other Frogz with this movement, however, the head is glued in place and the piece which moves the head is missing. It's basically a Rapper's Delight frog with a static head.

It's sad to see that some prototypes were abused like that. However, it looks so fricking amazing now. That's probably one of the best restorations I've seen.

Such a miracle this thing was able to be salvaged. You and VDC did a great job with bringing this amazing mythical frog back to life. Both of your talents made this frog the best it can possibly be. I applaud both of you. Plus the frog itself is fantastic!! The design and song are absolutely marvelous, shame if wasn’t released. Might be in my top 10 favorite Frogz as of now. Great stuff right here.
