In this video I show you how to configure TRUNK port between two Cisco Switch.
I will use 802.1Q trunking protocol in this video and the rest of the video is a tutorial on step by step configuring trunk ports.
l use Cisco 3550 and 2960 Switchs and I already created two VLAN (20, 40) on both Switch also I already created DHCP Pool on Cisco 3550 switch and when I create Trunk link between 3550 & 2960, The PC connected in 2960 switch will received IP from 3550 Switch Via TRUNK Link.

i must say your videos are excellent, keep up the good work, is their a way to block from your previous video vlan 20 was for wifi and could we block vlan 20 from accessing vlan 10 or 30 for security reasons, that is blocking wifi users from accessing data from servers, while all vlans are on internet ???? thank you

Thank you for the your tutorials sir. very easy to understand. i just need your help. i need to connect 2 stc routers to my cisco switch. i am planning to configure 2 vlans 1-24 for vlan 1 and 25-48 to vlan 2. can i install 1 stc router to vlan 1 and install the other to vlan 2? will it work? because i have 2 internet lines and would like to distribute it to 2 separate buildings. i hope you can make a tutorial. thanks bhai.

Hello mate, nice vídeo btw. I get you have only configured DHCP on bottom SW, that's why on PC2 you are not getting IP before configuring trunk ports. But, what happen if you configure DHCP pool on top SW and trunk port at Fa48 too? 2 DHCP servers on same vlan, which Will be the usted one? Or there Will be some kind of problems? I Guess you Will have problems enabling L3 on 2 ends, but I really apreciate you answer on It. BR.

Hi brother im your subscriber here, in my case i have huawei switch just want to ask questions because my set up is vlan to pass through OLT HSGQ i successfully configured all vlan in huawei switch using my pc i receive ip from my mikrorik but when i pass it to the OLT all client has no internet, what mode should o need to setup in my switch and to the olt so can access the vlan to the olt, using unamanaged switch vlan is running on olt with no problem only in managed switch. Can you answer me with this, what mode should i use, trunk, access or hybrid...please help

hello bro, I have TP-LINK TL-ER6020 router and cisco switch 3560 , now I want to conncet internet in switch all port , please help me!
All switchports in the default config of a 3560 should be in Vlan1 which is the default Vlan on most network devices. Is your switch is reset to factory defaults, if so just plug it into the LAN port of your router. If you create a second Lan and give it a Vlan assignment you will need to execute switchport access vlan# on the ports your want to participate (Belong) in that Vlan. APs are usually connected to trunk ports and the traffic gets tagged appropriately based on what you setup for each SSID.
i have 6 employess in my company. we use 300 Mbps modem. my boss gets only 64 Mbps , and his office is on 2md floor . Is there a way we can increase the speed like 200 Mgps so that he can get fast surfing., please, gude me, I really appreciate your videos.

From what I have noticed you only need this command with the layer 3 switches, the other switches probably don't need them because the have dot1q on by default and therefore don't need to be configured
