This is a great list that (as you know) just scratches the surface of all there is to do and see in and around Tucson! I grew up in Tucson, but live somewhere else now. I miss home each and every day.

Hi Kimberly : ) The honeymoon is over and I still couldn't be happier with my home purchase! There is sooo much to do in Tucson. We love living on the Eastside too. My daughter loves to go to Round 1 at the mall to play games once in a while and sometimes we bowl as well. We've gone to the Titan missile museum and the aerospace museum where they have all the airplanes. Saw the Thunderbirds at the airshow. Went to Tombstone. Short drive to Nogales. We love being so close to Mt Lemmon and I often mountain bike the several challenging trails up there. Also, we love the Rialto theatre downtown. We went and saw Beabadoobee. They always have great shows and the prices are reasonable. Downtown Tucson feels safer to me than most downtowns. There's so much to do in Tucson it's ridiculous. I think Tucson is going through a transition and it looks and feels much better than when I briefly lived here in the middle 90's. Tucson is a hidden backwater of a gem but it's becoming more widely known as I speak. One reason is due to the high price of real estate in most other parts of the country and another is I think they just voted it one of the best places to live.

Thinking of moving there this fall, but worried about the politics..I just don't want to be around a lot of political "issues", from either party..so tired of living in an area where there are banners, flags, yard signs, and chatty, divisive, political people talking about the latest narrative while waiting for a cup of coffee..and mask wearing?..The town I live in was (is) so bad that meeting people has been non existent.

That is a good question/concern. I feel the same way about all of that. I’m not a super political person and I don’t like being bombarded with all of that stuff. Feel free to call me to talk to me about more details, but in general Tucson tends to lean a little bit more liberal, although the state itself tends to lean a little more conservative, but of course, some areas are more conservative or liberal than others and then there are people like me who are not super political in general.
