my best friend of 4 years, the only real guy that i could talk to;
he moved about a couple of weeks ago and while i was on a trip to the mountainsides it really hit me then that if he was here, it could be so much more fun.
the chances of us meeting face to face ever again is astronomically low, and i miss having him here.

Honestly man, loosing anyone like that, whether through an argument, disagreement, due to life paths, it sucks. Doesn’t matter if it’s your lover, best friend or even like a group of friends, I’ve lost my best friend pretty recently and it’s sad, it’s rlly weird as now I don’t rlly have anyone to talk to for like hrs everyday but I feel like that’s life, and that one day, someone else will fill those shoes Yk? No one knows what life will truly intale but it’s okay, because even though good things come to an end, it doesn’t mean new ones can’t start either :)

A best friend never really leaves.
I legit just found this TH-cam video 20 mins ago and Damn I’ve never balled my eyes out for a yet video ever before. My parents pulled me out of a school to a new school in a totally different country and this meant that I was separated from all my friends esp my best friend. I’ve struggled a lot with making new genuine friends at this new school so watching this video is refreshing in the sense that there is still hope out there for things to get better
I cried. Because I'm a high school senior moving out to college this Fall and I have no friends. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I'm that bad guy at school who nobody wants to be a friend with. My best friend of 7 years left me because I am gay. It wasn't an incident or something, it was just me telling him that I was gay and then he just left. I wasn't acting weird or anything, I acted just like any other guy and still am. But, since then, I've been shy and timid and truly believe that I'll never find a good friend. It's sad to watch videos of people being happy with their friends. But at least you're happy and I'm glad you are!
Hey I’m over in the UK but also about to start uni in the autumn. I think you’ve just got to keep in mind that its an entirely new start with literally thousands of new people all around you. You may not think it now but I can guarantee you’ll make tonnes of new friends who will love all aspects of your character. Keep your head up for the next few months and I’m sure it’ll all end up working out

hey! hope you're doing better. although i'm not in college yet (or university here in the UK), i'm looking forwards to the fact that there are so many people you can meet. thousands. in high school, you're clumped together with a small group of people, a group of people often entirely difficult to bond with if you haven't been friends since elementary. even then, it can be so difficult. if you are yourself, and always are your true self, a great friend and partner will find you. your best friend who left isn't friends with you. the real you. i was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome in the winter, i felt completely different from everyone else suddenly. i felt like i was just trapped with a label that was my identity, and in one way the thing i love most about myself, but also the thing i hate the most, the thing i wished i could change. then i realised there is no point in changing, only finding people like you who accepted you. i joined discord servers of youtubers like simon, max reisinger (who is awesome, def check him out) and various others. although i wouldn't say i have friends on there, i at least have optimistic, kind people who support nurturing and wholesomeness behaviour. i'm even switching schools to find new people, people like me. you will find people, there are always gems, they're just hard to find. stay strong, good luck in college!

always admire your friendship with Matt, growing up i was alone most of the time bc i did not feel belong or can vibe with people around me( highschoolers) i don't mean that i'm better than everyone or sth just feel like i have less thing in common with people around, anytime i opened up my self and i thought i found some really good friend they turned out to be manipulator or just trying to use me for some benefit in their life. Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. Yes, even if you have lied once in your life, you are sentenced to hell - that's how
high God's standards are of moral perfection because God is holy and righteous, there is not one sin in Him.
For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ
- for He lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day.
None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all
have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us
are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit
to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal
hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned.
No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin.
Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16)
We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins

Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6)
(John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."
If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually.
When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)

If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes -

You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace
revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son.

As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so.

Hey Simon, My name's Brandon. I just watched one your videos (I overthink everything (Dear, Simon) ). It truly got me out of an almost crazy panic attack. I was already having dark thoughts of what could happen and how I don't want to go to work tomorrow and stay in my bed forever. Though with that video and your words of wisdom you brought me balance again. Help me regain focus on staying focused on the future and knowing that I have no control on what's to come but only in myself. ive been planning a trip to tennesse for the past 6 months, kinda surreal to see u go to the same place and have such a good time. Most of us are graduating high school this year so its meant to be a send off for us as we split up to go to different schools in different parts of the country. its really bittersweet to close the doors on one chapter of my life and yet be opening them on another. anyways, i appreciate your content man keep it up 💜

it’s crazy because my best friend is also named Matt. and I miss him so much because we see each other every now and then yeah, but not as much as we should be. We used to see each other and talk to each other every day. I’ve known him since kindergarten and he went to a private high-school and now we’re both graduating in a month and its just all so crazy right now. I miss the old days of just me and him.

I moved from California to Tennessee recently and when I watched this video I just started feeling so sad bc I miss them so much, I've known my friends since elementary school and seeing them carry on with their lives provides me some comfort but also extreme sadness. Especially my best friend. Were flying him out here to stay for about a week but still I'm worried we won't be friends anymore. There's so many things we still want to do together.

i am sorry, you dont really have to read this and waste your time, but i just wanna put this down somewhere and get my mind out of it
i never really had friends, i used to get bullied everyday, i used to cry everyday. i know its stupid, but i was just so vulnerable, i still am. the only person i felt the most happy with was my Dad, i never really thought about him like my favourite person, but now that he is gone, i finally realise that i lost a precious asset. i couldnt even say good bye, he was in the hospital, and i was not allowed to meet him because i was in house quarantine. the most tragic thing is that he died exactly on his birthday, i planned a lot of things to celebrate his birthday but...yea. i couldnt. i just wish i could have seen him one last time. one of my biggest regret is that i didnt cry that day, i did feel like crying but i bottled it up. and till today my mom calls me heartless, and my family think i am strong when i am actually not. i cry every night till this day burying my face in the pillows so that no one hears me. cause i am considered the "strong" girl and i dont wanna disappoint them anymore. and whenever i try to seek help, i was called an attention seeker. sorry for everythin i have done, sorry for not cryin that day, sorry that i am crying now.
