- Showing the progress I'm making on my 1:14 scale Wrecker with rotator crane. I am really happy with how everything is working.
The small actuators are using N20 geared motors. The larger actuators are using larger geared motors.
There are 13 motors, 7 speed controllers and 2 servos. It uses two different voltages so a 2 cell and a 3 cell lipo battery are needed.

Thanks. I haven’t finished it yet. All the body panels are made but no finishing work to make it look nice. I hope to get to it later this year and then I’ll do a follow up.

Good luck on your project. A mobile crane would be cool. I’ve finished the design but haven’t finished putting the truck together yet. I’ll post a final video when it’s complete.

Great work, converting my triple axel grand hauler into the same thing, I've been running into problems with the main boom if you decide to sell the files let me know id like to get the 2 boom designs from you, building i'm a rock star designing for 3d print not so much.
Nice work, very inspiring! I'm building a rc crawler recovery vehicle and was looking for some ideas. I'm curious, how many channels did you end up using?
Thank you. I’m using all 10 channels that my Flysky has. I could use 19 channels, to make it work with less I had to double up things.
@@BuildItBetter3D That's what I thought... Every new idea I have for a feature comes with maybe 1, mostly 2 and sometimes even 3 more channels I would need ... Will there be a follow up vid? I'd like to see how it's going!
I need to get back to it. The truck is functional but I haven’t done any of the finish work on the body yet. My snowmobile projects have taken over. I would like to finish the truck and do another video showing it all.
Are you going to be putting these files up on your website for sale? I really hope so it's such an awesome build I am currently building my own RC wrecker hoping to have it ready by October for a truck show event in Ontario CA. Anyways thank you for all your posting it helps me stay motivated as I said I've suffered a stroke in the past and it with a lot of issues and people like you make me wanna stay involved in the hobby. Amazing job, how did you make the limit switches?
A micro limit switch and a diode on each end. With the diode when hitting the switch it will stop in that direction but still allow for direction to be reversed.
Really awesome build I was wondering if you're going to be selling this anytime soon I used to drive a heavy duty wrecker before having a stroke I have already purchased the tamaya kit that I'm going to use to build this truck and would like to test out your files to build a wrecker

hello sir , how do you conect the main dump lift motor to the esc , ? it's only a +and - off the motor , how can I conect to my esc ? I made a similar set up for my trailer ramps , I have a motor installed, but I can't get it to work off my esc , please help sir 🙏
I used brushed motor and brushed esc. A brushed motor only has + and - so you need a brushed esc. Brushless motor and esc have three wires.

How much would it cost to buy one of your underlifts or your boom set up?
They are designed for my Skeeter frame, so would probably take a fair bit of modification to go onto another frame. I’m not in a position to sell them right now though.
If you were to take out the front rear axle so there were only three axles in the back it would probably turn a lot better
Yes, I’m sure it would. This is a build for a client and they want the 4 axles.
Do you plan on adding these files to your "My Mini Factory"?
I have not decided yet. I’m afraid the price I would need to charge to make it worth it is more than anyone would be willing to pay.

Thanks so much for your support. I’m still trying to decide if I will be releasing the files for the wrecker. I’ve been dealing with a lot of file theft/sharing. It’s hard to release something that was so much work when a few dishonest people will pirate it. It’s very frustrating, since I really enjoy seeing people build my projects.

Yes, I probably will. It is a big and complex build, so it’s not for the faint of heart. They won’t be available for a while though.

way to flimmsy bro them satble arms see them bend with no load . ahahah
They give a little but are holding up well. Could be machined out of metal for more rigidity, however cost would go up substantially. I can lift a load that will balance everything on one side, nearly tipping the truck over, and they hold up just fine.
