Very Nice work. I actually have the same trailer. (FWIWIt is not a Wedico.) There is a guy in Texas who made them to fit wedico trucks. His name escapes me right now. Mine is new and still in the box. I purchased it in the 90's directly from this guy. I retired and got back into the hobby and revived a Wedico build that I had, that I never finished. I was trying to come up with a way to operate and disconnect the goose neck. Your design has given me an idea to refine my attempts. I really like how you incorporated the neck lift into the movement of the entire goose neck. I have been experimenting with a linear actuator I purchased. Thanks for putting up you video.
Dude that is one awesome achievement on that drop down goose neck. I myself wanted to attempt to make one for a rc4wd lowboy but I chickened out lol Very nice set up.
Hey mate, love your work. I am planning on building something around the same to transport my excavator. Could you provide some more detail on the coupling and lifting mechanics. From the video I am having a bit of trouble working out how the screw , the connection to the bed and thus the lifting is working.
Would you be willing to share how the kick stand is deployed. As I wrote I have the same trailer. I would like to automate.
Yes but impossible to explain without pictures or video and TH-cam doesn’t allow that in comments.
I’ll try to get a detailed video soon
