I personally LOVE Little Debbie snacks! My Mammaw packed one in my Pappaw’s lunchbox every single day! Most days though he would save it and give it to me. They are a very nostalgic snack for me.❤

Mom use to pack Dad's lunch everyday. He took it a playmate cooler. Not the smallest one ,the one about 2 steps above that. She would get up in the morning and say I have to pack Herman's lunch!! She was referring to Herman Munster!! Lol. They are both gone now. I still think of this when I watch you lunch videos. Thank you!!

So important to care for our men who work so hard. My husband works the night shift too, it's so hard not being able to spend the week nights together but you make it work anyway you can. Love this ❤️
Every thing looks really good. On your chicken salad try craisins, pecans, celery and for the dressing use 1 cup mayo, 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 cup orange juice. You'll love it!
I love that you do this for Josh. I do this for my honey too. Those of us who like to cook, like feed our people.

Good on you ma'am !!! As a daughter of a retired trucker I can honestly say what you are doing is sooooo much healthier for your hubby. Is so difficult to try and be healthy when eating on the road not to mention it is very expensive.

Try doing the birra tacos in the oven- you can make the sauce a little thicker, dip or brush it on, load them up on a baking sheet, and then put another baking sheet on top to hold them down :)
I like adding French fries to buffalo chicken salad. It calms the spice level down and adds an extra layer of crunch ❤
I never buy sweets or Debbie cakes but when the seasonal stuff comes out all that is out the window. I love the little Debbie Christmas tree brownies!!!
I’m actually sad that I don’t have to pack lunches any more! Our boys are away at college and my husband retired early to keep up with our rental properties. I’m going to definitely take inspiration from your wonderful, creative lunch ideas and serve them here at home! I’m sure you’ve got your hands full, but I know there are many of us that would just L❤️VE a cookbook if you ever feel so inclined. Thank you for all you do!
I’ve noticed that Walmart deli rolls mold very quickly. You pack your husband the nicest lunches. Mine either has a sandwich or leftovers from the night before. Love the idea for fruit salsa!😊
We keep bread/rolls in the freezer.
I think it’s a good sign they mold quickly, less artificial ingredients

So many good ideas!! I’ve been using the Cinnamon Toast Crunch seasoning on toast with butter in the morning for a quick breakfast for my kids, and they also like it on strawberries!

I grew up in Louisville, and we ALWAYS had Little Debbies. My grandmother especially! I've lived in the Philly area for over 25 years, and up here, they swear by Tasty Kakes. I think Tasty Kakes STINK! lol

We put ham and turkey on our sandwichs at our house all the time :) That's actually my 4 yr old daughter Stella's favorite sandwich!! lol
If you put your chicken salad in your empty mayonnaise jar it will soak up what's left in the jar. You're so sweet to do this for your hubby.

We add chopped granny Smith apples to our chicken salad when we add dried cranberries (or dried cherries) and pecans. It is a good substitute for celery. We also add a little buttermilk to thin out the mayo & to keep the apples from turning brown.
My cousin just told me about that cinnamon toast crunch seasoning, she used it in her pancakes and said it made them taste like delicious cake!!
My husband and I live 3 miles from the Little Debbie factory in Tennessee (collegedale). We chase down the Christmas tree trucks. No judgment! 😁

Kristen I remember back in the day when you and Josh separated…I’m so proud of y’all for working it out! So many people don’t value marriage and just step out because it’s the easy way out instead of trying and working on your marriage! I know that Josh is blessed to have you, you take such good care of your family and I am certain you feel blessed to have Josh!! You can tell by the food that you cook your family that food is your love language😂!! Seems like you probably learned that from your dad!! On your chicken salad, you can add Ranch dressing to supplement the mayo if need be. It adds a great flavor.

These are such varied ideas. My husband takes a home mad elunchable every day - it’s about 5 crackers, a cheese stick and two pieces of turkey rolled up. He switches between a handful of blueberries and a handful of grapes. Literally that’s only switch he ever makes. He works from 6 am to 6 at night and that’s all he eats all day. He takes one cup of coffee with him. I’m surprised by the amount of food you pack. Now I’m wondering if most men eat that much food. It makes me curious. I’ve seen videos for kids lunches too and always think think they eat more than my husband lol. 🤷♀️ I guess that’s what’s funny about seeing what other people do.I think you pack your hubby awesomely varied lunches.

We use the cinnamon sugar dust in our pancakes 🙌🏼 they’re sooo good, we just add it to the pancake batter

Actually also an awesome way to make red enchiladas! I’m not sure if it’s traditional or just the way my family has always done it. But it makes them sooo much more flavorful!

We're on the same wave length. I was gonna try making elephant ears like they make at street fairs. We had a fair here this week but too expensive to go. They are charging $7.00 just for one. I thought of trying to make them here but my skillet isn't big enough for a burrito size. So I thought of just cutting it in half and do one half at a time. His lunches looked good! Did you add water into that soup? It seemed really thick, when you poured it, I need to get some of those thermos cups for my husband and kids. That would give me more options for their lunches.
