I love your packing lunch videos, gave me so many ideas for my husband. I even bought him the Hot logic for his birthday because he works at a fertalizer hub and sometimes drives a train there, and he never had a way to take a lunch that needed heated up..so he loved it and will be trying It for the first time on Monday. :) (Sorry that was so long lol)
The Sunkist reminded me of my old job at Dr Pepper Snapple. I was in charge of creating deliveries on the computer to make sure the limits were correct. If the weight limit was over, we’d take orange soda off first bc due to the sugar it weighed the most. Isn’t that interesting 😊😆 forgot about that til just now
I don’t pack lunch for my husband, only myself. Watching your videos gives me so much inspiration! You are very creative at repurposing leftovers and making lovely meals. A salad every day was getting to be very boring , so now I’ve got a bit more variety. A huge thank you from Mary in Florida. 🌺
I LooooVe ALL of your lunch ideas in this video. I esp am diggin the fruit salad and pin wheel ideas!! I am going to order a few of the small glass tupperware containers for snacks, (like pudding, fruit, dressings, etc.) and also the containers with 4 small compartments for same purpose. Also, I like the glass containers for foods that may stain (i.e., spaghetti sauce, etc.). I am truly happy and super grateful for your ideas. There are just so many!! I may also buy myself the lunch bag with built in heater. I only get half an hour. With the heated bag i can put my lunch to heat while I'm still working and actually start once I know it's done and ready to eat. I would then get a real 1/2 hour for lunch. YAYYYYY!! Your hubby is one lucky fella. Arlene
I prime my daughters thermos at 7:30 and at 12:30 her lunch is still warm. I just use water from the Keurig. I had never heard of doing that until you mentioned it a while back. Maybe they are not using thermos brand, I know one of the of brands I bought it didn’t keep it warm. Awesome ideas as always. I miss cream savers!! I am going to have to keep my eye out for them!
The parfait cups can sometimes be found at the dollar tree. My daughter got me one for Christmas and I use it often for many things…yogurt parfaits, small salads, antipasto salads, etc.
I know this video is a few months old, but I just found it. I wanted to let ya know I freeze sandwiches with the condiments (mayo, mustard, not lettuce or tomato) and it's fine. Been doing it assembly line style for my work lunches. If I haven't planned a lunch the night before, I grab a frozen sandwich and head to work. I work in an office, so I leave it on my desk a little before putting in fridge for lunchtime. Never had a problem.

For chicken thighs, they are AMAZING if you do them in the air fryer. Skin side down for 15 mins- 10 min skin side up on 375-400 and they are so crispy and amazing! I just do simple seasonings, garlic, onion powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and pepper! It’s a fav in our house - we also top it with glory sauce from glory days 😉 love your channel!! So many great ideas.

My mother and I love tomato soup (agree with using milk, so much better) with some cooked up pasta shells! We love to use the small or medium shells! So good!
You can use croissant or bread by using them as croutons , like this recipe I love making..... Oil in pan Cut up bread or croissant in cubes Add in pan and toast them Take eggs and season with salt pepper and paprika. Beat well Add in pan let it coat the breads and let the eggs cook and make the bread crispy by added some butter..... Serve with ketchup I'm sure you will love it ❤️❤️
If you do not have allergies the deli presliced meats is okay for several days. For those with allergies once the 'original' package is opened mold starts to grow within 24 hours.
I always love your content. My husband is a industrial pipefitter and he too is extremely hard on his lunch boxes we finally found one that holds up its the Engel 19 qt. They are expensive but so worth the money.
hubby has such great lunches , i would like to do it for my hubby , but all he ever wants is a ham /cheese on a roll , and fresh cookies i bake every week , and container of o.j. but i get what your saying with the lunch meats only lasting a few days , but if i know i have to use it up , i will make tossed salad and cut up the ham in small pieces or any other kind of meat i have and add it to the salad , or if i make scalloped potatoes i will add it to that for extra flavor , and also is great in a cordon blu chicken ... hope this helps to give u a few extra uses so the lunch meat doesnt go to waste.... love ur videos Kristin , i look forward to them every week!!!

Was thinking u was gonna fill up the large part of container with the fruit n marshmallow mix not tiny Porton, in nz we make ambrosia, it has yogurt(Berry flavour) and normal size marshmallow and raspberries or strawberries, Loads of whip cream. All done in large bowl with crumbled flake on top. Usually my best friend make it at Xmas time. Where did u get the awesome cup that had custard etc in bottom and granola or something up top part? The Campbell soup my mum use to do when I was a kid and I rember she added milk just like u

Hi Kristen!! I loved these lunches! Such great ideas, and I can't wait for the recipes you will share in the upcoming what's for dinner video that you showcased here. I must say, the lemon chicken dinner - I am making that as soon as we get through our game day leftovers! Here's another option for fruit and pudding. Add the pudding to a mini graham cracker crust tartlet, then arrange the fruit in top. More of an at home dessert, but looks pretty and tastes yummy!
Kristin, you can get a big set of the glassware on amazon for cheap! I just bought some for $40. I replaced my plastic containers and it's so much better!

For the thermos trick to work you have to have a good quality thermos. I had a cheap off brand one and my food was not warm at all several hours later. So I purchased an actual thermos brand and it definitely kept very warm.
what worked well for me was the off brand Yeti (the Ozark from Walmart) silver thermos hot/cold cups (you can get lids that cover the whole top) mine kept ice cold overnight and coffee was hot...what else worked was an old school plaid 2 cup size thermos (yard sale/thrift store) that u prep with boiling water first, or you can wrap your soft drink can/thermos container in foil or freeze half liquid as “ice cube or slush” to keep cold. Was that too ramble?! I hope not
I am retired but enjoy the lunch and dinner videos as they encourage me to find healthy options when making my meals. Also, lol 😆I never thought [ I know it sounds crazy ] to put the mayo in the sandwich instead of the bread until I saw you do it

I have always done half water and half milk and add garlic salt, pepper and Tabasco to kick up tomato soup a notch.

When I have leftover pulled pork, I make the sauce for orange chicken and substitute the pork for the chicken, served over rice.

I use almost a full tablespoon of butter and milk in my tomato soup and my kids love it that way and my granddaughter as well 😁
