The onn is the Best damn Party speaker in this segment under $200 this can't be touched! I paid $100 with a $20 coupon. My wife thought it was a neighbors car bumping when I was testing it in the Cave, and I had it only on 17 volume, and these walls were shaking with bass that is felt as well as heard! Of course the JBL is more rich sounding, but retails for more than twice of the onn!
The JBL sounds better no doubt but on sale at $120 right now the onn is hard to beat. I never even considered it because yeah, Walmart brand, but heard it today in store (no other display was working, conspiracy? I think so) and I was actually impressed. It's going to be my RV site speaker so if it gets broke I wont cry as much for that price. For a main go to speaker id spend more but the Onn will work fine for a drunken weekend party. Subbed and great reviews.
People don't underestimate Jay when he says the Onn doesn't have the quality sound that the JBL has. That's a huge deal. It's the difference that really puts a smile on your face each time you play it for years to come. So in my book it's definitely worth the extra outlay. Because soon after, you're not going to care about the extra cash you spent on the JBL and you'll be glad you did.
Absolutely. It's sort of like home subwoofers. You can buy a cheap one to go boom boom, but paying more gets you a more accurate and powerful sound. One other thing to note is the Partybox 120 now has a removable battery, so it's more future proof of you wanted to have it for several years. Just buy a new battery if you wear out the original one.
I have the onn it’s a good party speaker
