The game you won with Needle Spires was a nice nostalgia trip to my early Magic days in Urza's block. Everyone was combo crazy, so I played red land destruction and won so many games just hitting repeatedly with Ghitu Encampment. Great set of matches!
Definitely should have tutored for lands in some situations. There is a case for not wasting your resources to ensure land-drops and tutors do represent the most powerful card in your deck at the time of casting, but when all your cards are powerful the tutors go down in value. I've played more vintage cube than most (have a proxied cube in paper and used to play it regularly) and missing land drops have led to way more losses than spending tutors to find lands
In Québec, there's a somewhat popular event on camping sites on july 25th where people will jokingly celebrate christmas. It's called "Noël des campeurs" or "Camper's christmas".

Last year I had the misfortune of trying to rewatch some older cubes and found it nearly impossible to do so because there were so many Cube #1s (of course being broken up into multiple parts was the real issue but you see what I mean). I also know that TH-cam heavily favors actual titles over numbered videos, for better or worse. Aw hell, who am I kidding. I just want any excuse for more LSV puns!
I think white is underrated in vintage cube. It lacks the broken starts that the other colors have, but the support always seems to be pretty solid. Plus, I've seen white weenie do some Work.
You should be aware that Restoration Angel can blink creatures they stole from you and they get to keep them. It's templated as "put it onto the battlefield under YOUR control". I used to love stealing Tarmogoyfs with Vedalken Shackles in modern back in 2016 or so.

His mana base is really wonky with the 8 Islands and 9 not-Islands. Gush is greedy with what he's using, especially when he already has Dack for drawing.
