This scene was so funny that first time I saw it back in the 90s,I laughed so hard and now every time I see it,I laugh so hard and fart at the same time.
One of the greatest TV scenes ever! But if a woman as beautiful and smart as her wanted to eat a fly every so often I wouldn't give a fiddlers hoot! Lol
Nearly every episode of this show was based on a real life experience, and this one was no exception. Apparently, Ray's real-life brother dated a girl who turned out to be a fanatic, but she was obsessed with snakes instead of frogs.
"the fly, that was flying around. angela killed it, it fell on the table, she put it in a napkin, & then she AAAAAAAAATTTTTTTE IIIIIIIT!!" thats the best :D
Ramon Redarez ... I would have to debate that. 😂! I love the season 9! The best season of all! It has so many great & hilarious episodes. But this is 1 of my all time favorites!
Her actual eating the fly and Ray's reaction to it followed by his hopeless explanation of what he saw is truly one of the funniest scenes in television history. The only other one I can think of that remotely comes close to sustaining huge laughs for this length of time was on the show, Taxi, when the Reverend Jim took his written driving test. But this ELR episode is brilliantly original in its writing and flawlessly executed by the actors, especially Ray Romano, and I can see it a thousand times and still laugh hard. Simply wonderful.
I don’t know why Debra thought Ray was lying, what did he have to gain from lying ? He said that he thought she was great a minute before she ate the fly,so it wasn’t like he wanted to get rid of her.
she put it in a napkin and then she AAAAAAAAAATEEE IIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!! Debra: She did not eat a fly Ray: Yes she did Debra: No she.. Ray: YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Funniest parts of the whole series in this one episode.
I agree. The last part, going out the window, was headed downward, but you can't possibly maintain that level of hilarity. The timing was everything, all the fidgeting with coffee cups and silverware, the arrival of the in-laws - perfect.
Runner up is the one where Frank and Raymond convince Robert to deliberately mess up his and Amy's wedding invitations so he can get out of actually preparing them.
The first episode I watched and I must say set the bar high for me. The ending was epic. I didn't know what was going on in the plot of the overall series, but I can feel the end was special.
Thank you for this! I watched this when it first ran years ago and I could not stop laughing for days. Probably their best episode. I had recorded it and my kids made me play the fly scene over and over. Just replayed this for them again to re-live it!
Awesome, I saw the shorter clip and was thinking - what the hell, why did she eat the fly, what possible reason could they come up with? I thought it'd be a bad explanation but no it was pretty good lol
There's nothing embarrassing about going out through the window. If your mother's apartment had been one floor lower, we wouldn't be having this conversation! - Frank Barone
HAHAHA! He should've just told her he was going to go catch a rain frog so she could add it to her collection! But it wouldn't have been nearly as funny!
I love that the audience laughs at "We all come from frogs," yet half of them probably believe the theory of evolution, which says we all come from fish. But this is hysterical.
5:13 in the bottom two panels of the window, there is a turned, disembodied face and shoulder. In the next frame that the window is in ( 5:27 ) the figure is gone but the silhouette of an elongated face appears behind the tree in the window. Much easier to see in high definition, but definitely there...
"she did not eat a fly"
"yes she did"
"no she-"
"YEEEEEES!!!" i love that :D
"...angela killed it, it fell on the table, she put it in a napkin, and then she AAAATTTTEEEEE IIIITTT!!!!!!!"
That deserves an Emmy all by itself.
This scene was so funny that first time I saw it back in the 90s,I laughed so hard and now every time I see it,I laugh so hard and fart at the same time.
LoL, one of the best episodes on ELR! She AAAAAAATiiiiiiiiit!!! So freakin hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣
And then she AAAAAATTTTTTTTEE IT!!!
Hahahahahaaaa...
Best one!
One of the greatest TV scenes ever! But if a woman as beautiful and smart as her wanted to eat a fly every so often I wouldn't give a fiddlers hoot! Lol
We all come from frogs.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
....the way Raymond says “She’s not the one.” 2:57 😂
My favorite line hahaha
Wow it’s been more than 10 years since I post this video hopefully you enjoyed it 👍
faisal1979m I didn’t expect to see another Arabic person who likes this show 😅
Cheers pal
Here's your slow fkn clap haha 👐👐
👍👍
tara james cheers to you too, you should explore the Arabic people in your country
Nearly every episode of this show was based on a real life experience, and this one was no exception. Apparently, Ray's real-life brother dated a girl who turned out to be a fanatic, but she was obsessed with snakes instead of frogs.
Yeah, Robert's one-eyed trouser snake.
The life of a creative for ya.
(Ie life = fucked up)
(I didn’t know that though.
Thanks for sharing!)
i like both snakes and frogs.
They are repeats
She wasn’t the One
Poor Ray, nobody believes him
Except Robert at the end of the episode
When Raymond shouted she ATE IT!!!!!!!!!!! how did she not hear them in the kitchen?
Because it's a tv show..
He xould have been talking about anyone eating anything. She would not have hear the rest of the coversation.
103peanut ... 😂! 🤣! FACTS!!
Because it's not REALITY!!!!!! (In Ray's voice)
8:57 "you know Robert...we all come from frogs"
that's weird
Reva Clay she means frogs were the first chordates...seeeewww, technically.... if you believe in evolutionary theory... kinda do..
Reva Clay Are you single and looking? 😍
Reva Clay I think it was meant to be. 😛
"Weird"? That's a bit of an understatement.
That's why he jumped out the window
this episode never gets old
A FLYING CROUTON??
IF YOU SEE DEBRA EAT A FLY, I WANT YOU TO TELL ME RIGHT AWAY! XD
xxladybug94
I always thought the funny part was that nobody believed Ray. They thought he was being jealous and petty. He then says,"she ate a fly". Roflol.
@@vanmoodyIDK why they didn't believe him. He said he liked her a minute ago so he didn't want her gone until then.
Remember when Robert went into her bedroom and saw all those frogs? That was so funny. He left out the window. @@bonniestar4707
Debora: Maybe it was a crouton?
Ray:a flying crouton?
Me:😂😂😂😂😂
"the fly, that was flying around. angela killed it, it fell on the table, she put it in a napkin, & then she AAAAAAAAATTTTTTTE IIIIIIIT!!" thats the best :D
"a flying crouton?!?!" hahaha....just brilliant!
Hands down the best ELR episode of all. 😂😂
Ramon Redarez ... I would have to debate that. 😂! I love the season 9! The best season of all! It has so many great & hilarious episodes. But this is 1 of my all time favorites!
It’s on of my favorites, my other favorite is when he hangs out with a lot of African Americans, and starts acting differently lol
I think the best episode, by far, was the one on Marie's sculpture. It's hilarious, right up to the final scene, when Frank finally gets it!!!
This is a great episode, one of the best, but nothing tops Marie’s sculpture lol.
Mines is lucky suit friggin hilarious
3:33 to 3:48
Ray Romano fully deserved his Emmy Award for this 15 seconds of comedy gold !
i die when ray doesnt let her hug him at 5:41 & holds her back :D
ive seen this so many times and it gets funnier each time. Ray and Robert dont even have to say anything just the facial expressions are funny enough
Haha... Brad Garrett said Ray almost passed out when he yelled "And then she AAAAATE IIIIIT!!!" You can see it in Ray's face.
Even her pajamas are green!
The designers were genius, everywhere you look in her room you can find something green or related to frogs haha
The first time i saw this I was crying it was so funny
BEST Raymond episode ever!!!!!!!
i heard ray almost passed out when he yelled she ate it
You can see it, his eyes almost popped out of his head and you could see him wobble like he was going to collapse
well, it was definitely worth it because it gave us one of the funniest moments in the entire series
Raymond staring in total disbelief omg I'm in tears every time
I love when Ray just stands there not saying a word holding the tray
Indeed, as this video (as good as it is) cuts some of the time out of how long he held the tray and expression. Comedy Gold!
whispers....SHE'S NOT THE ONE.....lmao hahahahahhaha
*whispers* "She's not the one..." Lol! 😂😂😂

Good comparison, as both are belly laughers.
🤣🤣🤣Love this! What a joke. The look on Rays face.👌🏼
Ray's face is priceless...There is no way i could keep a straight face after seeing that...
In all the years this show ran, this has got to be the funniest scene ever!!!
I never thought about that before but youre right Debra does always seems to side with everyone else against Ray, especially with Robert smh..
The scene in her apartment tho.
Accurate representation of introducing your significant other to your weird hobby X'DD
I died when Raymond froze up 😂😂😂😂
I don’t know why Debra thought Ray was lying, what did he have to gain from lying ? He said that he thought she was great a minute before she ate the fly,so it wasn’t like he wanted to get rid of her.
My favorite episode of the show !
"You know robert we all come from frogs"
she put it in a napkin and then she
AAAAAAAAAATEEE IIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!
Debra: She did not eat a fly
Ray: Yes she did
Debra: No she..
Ray: YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

when raymond stand like a statu i laugh so hard i almost pee in my pants hahahahahhahahha
The first episode I watched and I must say set the bar high for me. The ending was epic. I didn't know what was going on in the plot of the overall series, but I can feel the end was special.
This is my all time favorite episode of Everybody Loves Raymond - the fly lady..
9:07 HAHA You know Robert we all come from frogs
Ah, interesting....goodbye! Absolute gold from Robert!
and then she AAAAATTTTEEEEEE it!!! LOL
Hilarious episode.
Then she atttteeeee ittttt!!!!!
The thing Robert hates the most about this? Raymond was right.
To be honest, even if humans really do "come from frogs", who would keep a closet full of frog terrariums?! It's like an unhealthy obsession.
Hands down the best scene ever!
My all time favorite scene on Raymond.
One of the funniest episodes, still roll with laughter !!
First there was FAST food...
Then there was FLY food
haha A FLYING CRUTON!
4:08 "a flying crouton?".........LOL!
Thank you for this! I watched this when it first ran years ago and I could not stop laughing for days. Probably their best episode. I had recorded it and my kids made me play the fly scene over and over. Just replayed this for them again to re-live it!
i love them all .... but THIS is my FAV episode !!!!!!!!
i would run away so fast
Big "Everybody Loves Raymond" fan. This is my favorite episode of all time....Funny stuff...
thanks 4 your neat comment and all you nice people
Frog lady still was smoking 🔥
Yep...would take more than a little fly eating and frog lovin to lose my interest
This is my all time favorite episode! It's so funny!
in the DVD commentary Ray said he almost passed out after saying "She ate it!". You can see him sway back and forth a little bit.
hope she used mouthwash
Awesome, I saw the shorter clip and was thinking - what the hell, why did she eat the fly, what possible reason could they come up with? I thought it'd be a bad explanation but no it was pretty good lol
😂 how did they made this episode with a straight face and didnt laugh is amazing. My favorite episode.
There's nothing embarrassing about going out through the window. If your mother's apartment had been one floor lower, we wouldn't be having this conversation! - Frank Barone
yes you are right its super freaky thing i didn't notice it its like a doll or somethig
5:15 What is that creepy looking thing in the window? It disappears in the next shot.
HAHAHA! He should've just told her he was going to go catch a rain frog so she could add it to her collection! But it wouldn't have been nearly as funny!
That's alright... SHE'S JUST A RAPTIL 🦖🦕🐍🦎
kissing her after that would be.........................................
...She did
@AxeChocolateboy Ray went lightheaded when he said that line.
& then she AAAAATTTTTTEEEEE IIIIITTTTT! FUNNIEST MOMENT EVR! =]
I love that the audience laughs at "We all come from frogs," yet half of them probably believe the theory of evolution, which says we all come from fish. But this is hysterical.
@thunderstruck665
Well, don't forget...Robert & later on Marie didn't believe him either. The disbelief adds to the comedy.
omg this is soo funny xD
is it bad that I don't blame robert for doing that?
My 1st homemade dish I made for my wife was chicken lemon inspired by Debra’s recipe
LOL at :45-:46! Ray once said that when he screamed like that, he almost fainted! LOL!!!!!
I'm looking for the very end scene from this episode
For heaven sakes who tf eats a fly
who doesn't look to see if some one is looking if your about to do some thing like that
01:55 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤮🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I nearly fell off the chair laughing ......
omg...i think i died somewhere around 3:44! LMFAO. ive never laughed so hard in my life!!
A flying crutones???😅
i laughed so hard i cried XD..she probably liked robert cuz his voice kinda sounds like a frog lol
Ahe AAAATTTTEEE IT!!
One of my other favorite episodes was Marie's Sculpture when Ray notices the statue And tells the others
Haha I love that one and The Angry Family episode
@@ifeelpretty5790 The Angry family was on tonight and enjoy watching it every time
She ate a fly...
I was HAVING LUNCH and she ate the Fly... Note to self not to watch "comedy" during meals...
😂🕷🐸

+Mercedes Beilschmidt that is weird. maybe ray has his own personal stalker
I believe it's a reflection I have noticed it before. There has been more than once that they caught a reflection or caught a stage hand in a scene.
@XxiwuvyouxX "AAAAAHHHHH.... Interesting... Goodnight!" XD
Could watch this over & over again and I stll laugh each time. Ray is hilarious!
and den she ATE IT....LOL
& then she AAAATTTTEEEE IIITTT!
FAVE PART! =]
That was one hairy beefy fly.
