my warmup consists of: a) putting until i feel warm b) flightowel for backhand and thumber c) a couple practice throws d) sit around for 30 min before the round starts and get cold again
I have a disc attached to an exercise band. I attach to a tree, or a post, and then do practice throws. It also allows me to do my throw slow, but with resistance, building up muscle memory.
WOW thank you so much, this was exacly the video i was looking for. Now i just need more A2`s. Im 14 years old, no money so that will be on the waiting list:)
Aw damn! Is there a disc shop local to you? Maybe theyd let you do some easy tasks or volunteering during tournaments so you could earn some money and/or discs
I can't stress enough how useful resistance bands are for warming up really for any sport. Even if it's just 5 minutes before you teeoff while your waiting in the queue with your group. Another thing is doing some basic dynamic lower body stretch's, especially the hips and lowerback. You'll be throwing with your legs engaged and walking a decent amount, so might as well do yourself a favour on that end. ;)
I can guarantee that during your practice you will want to use a Pluck-Stik and a Hyzer Bros. shag bag. Picking your discs up should never take more energy than throwing them!
I know I'm gonna sound like "that guy" but that's not your hip flexor. Hip flexor muscles are a group of like 5 muscles at the front of your hip, not the side. I wouldn't mention it but if anyone starts thinking their hip flexors are the issue and look up other exercises for it, they're gonna finally exercised for totally different body parts than what you guys were talking about.
I’m sorry if it came across that way! This idea stemmed from seeing some products marked way up because they had a disc golf logo slapped on them and we wanted to show people that you could get the training tools you need for a lot cheaper than you expect and then show people how to use them as well. We tried to be clear that A) you don’t need any of this to get better and B) the links were monetized so everyone was aware that we would get some kick back from the products if you used our links meaning if you don’t want us to get kick back, just go to the Amazon app on your phone instead. Don’t worry though, this was just an idea we had for a video to help out our newer player audience and does not reflect a change in strategy on the channel! Normal videos are headed your way

Yeah I mentioned that too. I learned that from body building and not training my abductors well.
Some times I dream, that he is me, I just wanna be like BIG HUNT
First?
Hip abductor. Not flexor.
Zoom in, zoom out. Wobbly camera. The camera work this video is very weird.

Just a heads up, someone is using your image on the 100k video to try and scam your followers
