Thank you for sharing another favorite recipe. Glad to know about the secret ingredient “peanut butter”👍👍👍 I have made this and added vinegar to preserve it a little longer. My friend’s absolutely ❤️ it. Also use it as relish with chilie bites. So glad that we can hear you clearly without distracting music like other food channels. Looking forward to lemon 🍋 pickle recipe. 🙌🙌🙌
I'm trying not to binge watch Aunty tonight, because I don't want to watch all, and wait for the next upload. So I'm keeping some vids in storage🙃 What I can say is, I really appreciate all that the Indians have brought to our RSA table. I'm coloured, in Durban, and my great grandfather was Indian. So there's not a week that goes by without Indian food! I actually get depressed if there's none. A person can feel something missing🤪. Our forefathers and mothers have brought abundant medicinal, culinary and industrial botanical plants, and cultivation know how, to use in this country. I'm grateful to all of you that now I know. I shouldn't, and will not starve to death in RSA! 🇮🇳🇿🇦💞🥂

Never tried this with peanut butter before. Will try it next when I'm making during the fasting period coming up. I noticed you haven't added mint leaves to the recipe. Thanks for sharing .....
Mint doesn't keep well in the fridge - it goes black. But if you making it and eating it in a shorter period of time then mint can definitely be added.
The nuts chutney freezes very well so you don't need to braise to preserve - you can pack it in smaller containers and freeze them and when you ready to use you can defrost a couple days ahead. Braising can be done, but you have to be very careful with very little oil, and an onion and mustard seeds. Then cool before adding to the nuts chutney. However the oil does tend to stay at the top and not mix into the chutney fully...

Hi there we have not tried that one out so we cannot make a recommendation

How long it last.i know it goes off if kept long.
