I believe not crossing the yellow makes you a better driver. Remeber, in real bumper to bumper you dont always have the perfect line. Plus less chances of wrecking your car WITH SOMEONE ELSE. cat and mouse is fun though. Usually call it by a car length or 2. If they are right on your ass when you get tk the end you lose. If they take a few seconds to catch up call it a win.
Watching these guys consistently cross double yellows around blind corners that end up having an on coming car is frightening and infuriating. Have fun but stop being a reckless ass about it.
people think those that condemn crossing the lines condemn it because it puts regular traffic at risk, thing is it's not just regular traffic but especially other touge runners. someone attacking in the opposite direction *in their lane* is coming up at such a speed the person cutting won't have a chance to react and then you have a very nasty head on. no spotters, no crossing, period.

A lot of these guys in the canyons cross double yellows, you should only do it when you have good visibility, that being said people still crash
