Carl Franklin is a true talent who is terribly overlooked. He's as brilliant as Spike Lee and John Singleton. Devil is one of the all-time great movies.
He is a true artist. I would love to act in his films because he respects the craft of storytelling.
It's a shame this movie wasn't successful since they wanted to develop two more movies. A trilogy of Easy Rawlins would've been great potential.
