- This is a short animation done be Canaan M. Audio done be Phanin S.
It's a simple animation about life and how we can build up everything, but in the end it can't come with us. This is only to be thought provoking - it would take ages to draw in more characters and kids...Blah, Blah, Blah....
Hope you enjoy...And are not too depressed...Remember thought provoking ;)

Many people ask me how this animation was done - i hope this helps...
Adobe Flash does this thing called "tweening" (you start with the beginning and end poses, and the software completes the in-between poses, or 'tween'). An example would be you draw a man with his hands up, and then after 20 frames you draw him hands down. Flash will process all the positions in-between. But, there is still a certain amount of frames needed to be done by hand, especially if the character changes angles (a face turning left to right, toon turning from front to back, etc.) Tweening works best on a XY plane, if that makes sense? You can do a pseudo Z plane or depth thing, like 2.5D instead of '3D'. (I must be confusing the heck out of you by now).
An alternative is a 'puppet' method, where you break a character into parts, and animate the parts separately. For example, separate hands and legs at the joint, and you animate by rotating the limbs/joints. But that is probably more robotic looking if you are just starting out.
Of course, the best animations are still done by hand, frame-by-frame as nothing else is as expressive. The masters spend hours and years to hone their craft, that's why they are so good (classic Disney stuff). The simplest method, is probably using a low frame rate and do a stop-motion thing with character cutouts from paper and then re-arranging them on screen at about 8 frames per second over the timeline.
There's heaps of resources online you can check out, one good one is Computer Arts magazine's website: www.computerarts.co.uk/tutorials. Search for "Animation Tutorial", you might find what you need there. Tons of Flash tutorials.
If you want to learn more about traditional animation and want a good, solid source, the Animator's Survival Kit is excellent. Even current day pros use this 30 year old material to learn their craft: www.theanimatorssurvivalkit.com

Whether it's good or bad, it's all there is. It's not fair, either. Some people have several decades of relative comfort while others get only a few of nonstop suffering. Which of those you get is largely dependent on where and when you happened to be born. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Not rich but never went hungry or had to experience war. I've had few physical maladies in my life although more of those are creeping in lately. I'm just hoping that, when the end comes, it won't be accompanied by a large amount of pain. It's all a matter of random chance.

@@liguow don't worry, death is not the end at all, it's only humans that put the notion of death on it. But it's not so dark as we imagine, it's even full of light. You should read about Near death experiences. I had a friend that talked to me about it. His goodfather was about to die, and didn't believed in life after death, but he made a near death experience just before to die, and said to my friend that he was right...While he rejected this idea all his life.
So don't worry, life on earth is here to make the soul evolve, so make the good around you, because it will benefit you after. Death is not death, it's only another dimension, but many humans aren't receptive of it, and think that death is the complete end. But it's not true.
We are all going to die. Nothing is permanent. everything is changing. It is the true.

I've just started messing around with animation so I found this video at just the right moment. Thanks for providing so much info in the description. Re the 'thought provoking'...it suddenly occurred to me that all of us playing with animation and creating something that never existed before are leaving something behind that has /real/ value. If life is to have meaning, we have to create something, not just hoard 'things'.

I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning… to the end.
He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own, the cars… the house… the cash.
What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard; are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged.
To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile…
Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?
This is not it, this might be it for the body but not the spirit. The spirit is eternal and this right here, from the moment we are born to the moment we die, it’s an opportunity to choose where you want your spirit to spend it’s eternity. Also this is a reminder that life is short, love more, forgive more and not allow to be blinded by the lights. Thanks for this 70 seconds reminder.

Perhaps you overlooked that the Jesus of the Bible is also the Jesus of Old Testament fulfilled Bible prophecy, the Jesus of history, and the Jesus who has transformed millions of broken and degraded lives (many other lives too).

I wrote a long text here.
But now I delete it and replace it with a summary: there is no evidence of God, Jesus, Buddha or Zeus as described in the lore ever existed. Therefore for anyone who takes the matter rationally they all are imaginary entities (see Occam razor).
The fact that imaginary entities can influence history and life of common people is incontestable. But it is totally irrelevant in question of existence of God.
