My dad, oh my dad. I know only now, after my oun divorce and many separations after of different women I happened to meet and try to rebuild my life, what he suffered. His tears and his abandonment. His depresión has now an explanation. Then I was just an angry teenager, now, I have the wisdom of age. May his memory be always stay clear and his soul rest in peace with the good and the just.

I had a father, but I didn't have a dad while I was younger. I don't consider this man my father. My brothers, sister and I are the product of alcohol fueled impulses in his part, without going TMI. It took my mom nine years to escape him.
The man she found, who ultimately stood by her as she sent that miserable creep to prison, is my true dad. No, he's not my blood father, but he's an amazing man who taught me that chosen family is often just as special as natural family. I feel a little of your terrible pain. I can only imagine your distress and grief, for which no words could ever convey.
I remember when my father died. I was in some kind of shock about an entire situation around his death.
I kept feeling episodes of huge stress, thinking about what I thought was terrible trauma, that I thought he had suffered while in hospital for several weeks.
I had a dream soon after.
A voice said to me:"Whether he was happy or sad, he's not suffering now".
This truth really helped me to stop waking up at night fretting and full of distress and anxiety.
I am feeling deeply sorry about what has happened to your parents.
Your father sounds so special.
I try to keep my parents alive by having celebrations with my children and by demonstrating the great values and integrity my parents had.
I have read and seen in many places that from death comes life. In lots of ways it is true.
Now that I am in the senior generation, I take my responsibilities even more seriously.
I know none of this will help you, really, because these huge losses just have to be felt and it must run it's course while being shared with other caring people, until the pain subsiides, little by little.
Thankyou for sharing your grief with us. You and your parents will stay in my heart today and I will remember how lucky I am, for the people I have, including my parents who still guide me and whose love is a light I can keep shining through me wherever I go each day.

Trust me I don't regret the sore relationship what hurts me is the man I saw on the hospital bed was a lost man (hara hua) who chose his relatives against his family. I haven't been through something like this until now, so likely I can't even imagine how it feels. But I know that it hurts. That it hurts extremely. I lost my dad when I was 29, and my mom now 3 years ago. Having no siblings, no brothers or sisters, you feel in a sudden that you are here and by your own. There is no one that will give you his or her unconditional love and support. Enjoy your parents and your siblings, and know, we are only visitors in this world. So make it good, give love and respect, and tell your parents how much you love them mine while they are on this side of the fence.

I'm not sure if you are religious, but I believe that there is someone who gives us this love: God. He loves us in a very special, unconditional way even if we made mistakes. So please try not to feel that unloved (if you do so). God is there and you can see your parents again in heaven.

And to come and pick me up with dad, bobbe and zeide, and my beautifull dog whom I had for 14 years. When I feel lost, I go visit my mom's grave and ask her to help me. I cry when I go there a lot. I cry for them, for me, for friends gone and relationships that went sower. Then I can come home cleaner and know that I am loved by them and by the Creator. Thanks for your kind words my dear.
