High-Yield Psychiatry Shelf/Step 2 CK Review

  • This is a high-yield review of psychiatry for the shelf exams and Step 2 CK. The first section starts with HY practice questions, followed by important differential diagnoses, and then conclude with some rapid review concepts. To keep the video a reasonable length, much of the basics (depression, psychotic disorders, etc.) aren't covered in great detail.
    Keep in mind, psychiatry can be challenging when questions are vague so remember your diagnostic criteria!

    Small issue, but if you go to 27:00, in the section on eating disorders, your BMI calculation is slightly wrong. You need another parentheses in the denominator of your calculation, (198 lbs / (70 in * 70 in))* 703 = 28.4, but the calculation you have up there (198/70*70)*703 would actually equal a BMI of 139,194.
