Love seeing a smart dude getting introduced to the genius that is Akala, should be a national treasure for us Brits…and is considered so by those that know.
It's great to see other people's reactions to seeing Akala for the first time and giving him his props. A Fountain of knowledge and a beast with a microphone.
Akala is an inspiration to me. He speaks to kids in the city, middle class white boys like me and the rich educated. He’s transcended rap, so much value and content he should be taught in schools. So much respect for this mind. And he only talks about what he knows. This is still so powerful!
Skip 2 & 3 for now and listen to part 4. It's both technically and lyrically the best Fire In The Booth ever performed. It's still conscious but it's brag heavy and absolutely excellent.
I took Computer Accounting in High School so the asset & liability bar hit me different because people honestly don't know how to tally up each for business
Talking about judges getting rich off of sending people to jail, a judge was literally caught in a "kids for cash" scheme in the USA where they got kickbacks for putting children in prison: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_for_cash_scandal

Good reaction mate, there’s a reason Akala and lowkey never get played because they speak uncomfortable truths, instant sub!!

Akala has opened my eyes and educated me. I think he talks about social class as much as race. Wish everyone was educated with Akala
