I bought the smaller one at 25 bucks on Amazon and loved it so much and I had to get the large from Artisan Cutlery for G10 handles the kind of wish they had a better steel but it's a great deal I can't wait
This is where their AR-RPM9 blades shine, low cost, solid build knives. It is weird they don't describe the button lock on there at all on their website.
They've had a Large Pyrite for a while now. The newness of these is the light aspect. I've owned a Large Pyrite with a drop point AR-RPM9 blade and Green Micarta scales for a minute now. Great knife. Thanks
I actually have one wrapped and ready to be given to a family member. Grabbed the blue with coated blade. I actually dig the feel of these too and I don’t usually buy under $250.
Dumb lock button, and it should go the other way…In should be release not lock…was excited till I saw the lock button…..WHY DIDNT YOU HIGHLIGHT lock out button WAYNE?
@@dixierekt2407It has a secondary manual lock out DUDE. So you don’t cut your finger off if/when the “ not so reliable” button lock fails. Try paying attention DUDE.
@@elde667 Unfortunately, the "safety" doesn't have any more surface contact than the primary button/plunge lock. The way it engages the blade is pretty much the same. Metal Complex was unboxing another one of their models with the same lock/safety setup and with the safety engaged, it still failed his rather light spine tap test. Very disappointing. They really should've just used crossbar locks on these full-sized Pyrites or even resurrected their own Recoil Lock system, which I rather liked.
The Rose gold colored Bowie pyrite is my only pyrite and my favorite. I love the fullers and the pointy tip.
You just can’t go Pywrong.
Like the large version, but haven't tried the pyrite yet. I'm looking at it now.

The frack was the solution to the large pyrite… until now. This is going to be a winner for sure.
I just got the Frack CNC steel beautiful fun knife and sharp asf 👍🏽
A lot of knife for the price. I’ve had good luck with AR-RPM9 steel and no problem with the FRN scales. Thanks for sharing Wayne!

Love that size, so tempting, been ogling it and getting weaker by the minute, haha.
😂…don’t hesitate “for the price”, it’s a great feeling knife and, will get any job done

What in the world are you trying to say? It's a button lock dude...

Been out for awhile. I’ve had a large pyrite for a couple minutes now .
Yup
