That board is really clean, looks nearly new, that one definitely aged gracefully.
Just cracked mine open after pulling it from my '97. I currently swap PCB's and main processor boards out in equipment for a living and have seen a few in my day. And although I don't think my PCM is the original. It is from ford and is dated from '96. Has a few chips made my Motorola and Intel copyrighted '91! I must say it's the highest quality board topped with the most and cleanest conformal coatings I've ever seen. They don't... make, them... ummm, like... somethin somethin

Mine had an issue where it wouldn't advance timing at all. It ran horrible and would pop and bang on decel. Had my ecu fixed by a person on eBay and it's ran great since.

Board repair is what it comes down to as the availability becomes scarce. New stuff is awesome, but like factory stuff to evaluate a stock car. Put an 85 Lima turbo in a 90 Mustang. Set up with an LA3 box. only used availability if they can be found.
LA3 haven’t heard that computer in awhile
Take any LA2, LA3. They run late 86-88 2.3 turbo coupe specific applications from '83-88. PE prefix is SVO Mustang, 84-86 Supposedly.. seen the prefix on Tempo/Topaz boxes too.

Hi Neo Mustangs I can give dead details but I was wondering if some how or had use for an A9L ECU ..fuel pump constantly runs no idea what to do with it.can give you numbers on board but I was trying to donate to your team
Also point out if getting a computer it needs to come from a vehicle with the same features, power windows, cruise ,engine size ,all the options for same car .

Do you only work on fort computer? I have a 2004 mercedes Benz Sl500 I would like the (BCM) battery control module looked at to see is there sign os aging and see if it can be fixed !
Sure was nice when there was a Radio Shack close to most. Had to desolder and solder quite a few Toyota board’s years ago. Especially those old taillight failure sensors on the mid/late 90’s Camrys.
It's a nice afterthought now. When it was around the corner you were bickering about their prices. It was a cool ass store though. If you had the coin you could strut out of there like James Bond. Blowing people's minds with multi control switches, a home intercomm, and a laser pointer

Is it possible that the ECU can cause an engine knocking mostly from a cold start, then taper off while it’s warming up ?
Or if there is a knocking it will be there the whole time while the engine is running?
Is it possible that just a portion of the programming could be off ?
My fuel pump doesn't work at times. I checked grounds and of course that pink wire. I believe it could be my computer. What do you think?

I have a 1997 mazda b2300 has a Ford computer the truck died while running and is not receiving power to fuel pump the fuel pump is a new pump cus the old one rusted out and was leaking replaced the pump worked good for couple months and now won't start I tested the pump outside of the truck and it runs connect it to the truck and no power being received to the pump I think it's computer issue cus I had two blown fuses too

Don't work no power
You are suppose to change all of them and also clean where the electrolyte fluid has leaked, and hopefully it did not short any component otherwise you are out of luck

hello, we got a 2012 pathfinder LE with the 4.0 v6 engine.
New electronic throttel control was installed.
Problem: after goingnto the proces of relearnig/reprogaming it will star/run normal, but after a few miles/mimutes it will stall/shutoff.
We have done the realearn process mamy, many times with yhe same negative results. Can you figure this one?

I think I screwed up my ecu, Because most of the codes he's mentioning is what i'm getting, Here's what happened: I decided to wash the engine without covering any of the major electronics, When starting the vehicle it instantly went into limp mode, If curious by vehicle is a 2007 Chrysler three hundred base model three point seven liter
