My first keyboard memory was the olllld apple keyboard in elementary school lab and IBM model m for my first typing class in 6th grade. I hated those at the time but when I learned about keyboard ASMR, it instantly brought me back to those memories lol.
Thanks! I haven't joined many GB this year (def cutting back on the spending), but I'm currently waiting for SP-111 and Infinikey Islander. I'm looking to join the Iron180 GB, but thats going to be a hard one so let's see if I can get a slot
There's not much shine on them, yay for PBT! Worth noting that I don't use them all the time since I rotate through keyboards (altho I also rotate through several GMK sets, which have shined wayyyy faster).
@@jimmynguyen973 Awesome! I'm planning to pick up a second board with another pbt set partially for that reason. I'm starting to get nightmares of my only set shining, lmao. Thanks for the insight!

Kind of, the SA version is all sold out so the only way is to get them in the aftermarket (r/mechmarket), but you can pre order the DSA version of these keycaps www.mechsupply.co.uk/product/dsa-vilebloom
and some people told me this aint much! i for sure think its a lot. looking back now, there's really no need to buy so many keyboards so fast. i've gotten so use to having so many keyboards that getting a new one isn't that exciting to me anymore. selling old keyboards for a new one would be a better way to go about it. im taking this learning experience into mechanical watches. im going to stick with my first watch for now and not buy another one until i feel the need to celebrate some kind of milestone, and stick with a 3 watch collection.
@@strictnonconformist7369 yeah sorry I have only been doing that for the last 16 years ...maybe it's not enough. I am not saying I am not using arrow keys...but I am not using dedicated arrow keys. My arrows are always in a layer usually at ijkl
@@strictnonconformist7369 I used to use vim not anymore. It depends on the keyboard (I am a fan of 40s) on the Kyria I use thumb clusters on something like the ut47.2 I used mo tap on the tab button. sick collection bro
Lovely collection and great video! I love how you can see the slow decent into the madness into the mechanical keyboard world LMAO
lmao thank you 😅
Your videos are splendid! They captivate me with the shots the sound and ever the story! You are doing wonderful things!

What’s your favorite layout? And are Alice keyboards really ergonomic?
Southpaw 65% is my favorite layout. I'm not exactly sure how ergonomic Alice keyboards are (they don't seem that ergonomic)
What is that desk 1:27 ? Is the top from ikea too?
The trestle is IKEA FINNVARD, the drawers are IKEA ALEX, the top is IKEA KARLBY
@@jimmynguyen973 nice! I love that karlby. I will need to cut it if I get it though. It’s 190cm long And I only have 150cm. I hope i can!
@@YiannisMorfos You can also look into the IKEA GERTON, but you'll have to finish it yourself.
