PROJECT 78: EPISODE 5 - RENO NEVADA

You are never able to control acts of god and Ricky G took it all in stride when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event in Wheatland was cancelled due to weather. With a healing wrist, the delay in the event meant more time to heal for the young driver as a double header would be added to the schedule the next month. Growing up in the racing world and traveling nearly every weekend, Ricky finally turned 16 and was able to get his drivers license….even though he has been behind the wheel of a race vehicle all of his life. A month out of the seat, Ricky returned to the track rusty but worked with his Coach Troy Adams to get back in the swing of things. Pushing himself on the race weekend to get to the limit despite some setbacks, weather would once again play a factor as changing track conditions and limited track time was not favorable to the rookie. Off the track, Ricky continued to help promote the series, his race program and work with a local charity before his on track action commenced in Reno, Nevada.
