PROJECT 78: EPISODE 1 - PRESEASON

A new name is set to enter the Pro 2 division at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and that is Ricky Gutierrez (AKA Ricky G). Set to embark on his Rookie season in the Pro 2 class, Ricky G will be not one of the youngest drivers ever to do it, but THE youngest driver to compete behind the wheel of a Pro Truck.
With multi-episode season planned in 2019, the first episode outlines the trails, tribulations and the amount of effort it takes to enter the Pro 2 class. From meeting the G Brothers Racing team, who often work more than your typical eight-hour day, to the design, construction and build of a new race shop, hours of preparation and planning, to testing and learning the ropes of a new truck with the famous Brian Deegan, to working with Troy Adams Coaching on the track and a personal trainer off of it, it takes a herculean effort, but Ricky G is prepared!
With the first event of the 2019 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series taking place at the Glen Helen Raceway on Saturday March 16th, this video does not only cover the days and hours of testing, but the months and years of preparation to have the chance to compete on the national stage.
