Love your videos man, my grandpa left hungary in 1956 and made it to Australia by gambling with soldiers on trains to afford a plane ticket, im just now trying to connect with my heritage by learning hungarian language and culture so i can visit my ancestral homeland one day.
Szia.😊.Sok szerencsét neked haza látogatni. Jól fogod érezni magad. 77 óta Kanadában élek. Most látom először Pécset. Gyönyörű város és vidék. Én is szeretnék ott látogatni.😊.Bye.
Hiee ,hope u r doing well. I'm from India and I'm planning to do my masters from pecs. May I ask as a international student what are job opportunities there and language barrier which I would experience?
Bro you are such a cool guy, honestly don't stop what you're doing it's absolutely amazing to see a foreigner love our home as much as we do. And besides, someone who speaks hungarian this well isn't really considered a foreigner anymore...
Imádom ezt a várost is én is. Szuper a Király utca. Ott van a mackómúzeum - hihetetlen mennyi maci van ott, szenzációs. A tulajdonos hölgy imádni való. No az állatkert is nagyon klassz.
Hey Willie, very nice video. I am big fan of Pecs myself. That main square with the former Mosque has so much class and dignity. It's worth going inside the Synagogue if you haven't done that yet. BTW, on my end, at about the halfway point, your audio and video became out-of-synch. Don't know if it was just me. Be well!-Steve
Willie! Látogasd meg Végvári Sándort, nem messze lakik Pécstől, nagyon szép helyen, biztos tudnátok beszélgetni a hazádról! nem tudom hallottál e róla, ezért ajánlom! csak igy tovább, büszke vagyok rád!
I was in Pécs in July and loved it. I enjoyed your history of Ferenc, Kossuth, and Szechenyi. I felt Pécs had a missed opportunity with its excellent city walls. If they would just make a proper trail around the whole city and shine some lights on the walls from the ground like they do in Siena and Jerusalem for example, a lot more people would visit the walls and it would be a major part of coming to Pécs and of viewing the city at night.
@@8_x_9. There were some streets that were so dark in Budapest that I couldn't see past 5 buildings. The only darker place I've been to is Krakow Poland. Something about the old East Bloc. They haven't figured out that no light at night equals danger but I do enjoy the ambiance.
This is my hometown, I roam these streets every day downtown. It definitely feels great to leave the brutalist block buildings behind and go to the city center for some time...
The story of the mosque in the middle of the town is, when the Turkish colonized Pécs, the priest of the Church ask them please leave the woman and the children alive who were in the building, but The Turkish burned the church, and Skin off the priest.
Szerintem Pécs belvárosa nagyon hangulatos, a Zsolnay negyed világszínvonalú, és a Tettye is nagyon szép, ugyanakkor Pécs külvárosa nagyon lepukkant itt-ott (sok a c*gány).
if you are going to pécs check out the r73 residence, fantastic accommodation in a perfect location --> r73residences.com/
You always ends up meeting with Gypsy minority. See:5:39

At 5:38 and from then on, the girl kept asking if she can be in the video. She didn't say she makes a video too, or that she's a youtuber. :D
