I know all the places shown by you and your way of presentation makes me I think I'm a big fool because I didn't realize what a beautiful city I have. maybe it's the habit. I often pass by LUCA, I have one right across the street from the apartment where I live. believe me, I saw you, [guy, don't forget, Rams is very close to your team] with what appetite you ate that pretzel with cheese, you convinced me to try it too. what irony, I had to see an American for that. ;;Alright, alright, alright;; as a charismatic Texan says, I'll stop here for the moment, tomorrow morning I'll watch the rest of this video. ok, I ran away, thank you very much and have a nice evening. bye.

As a Romanian, I appreciate this video, and your positive vibe about our country :) I would like though to offer some (unsolicited) historical context. The Palace of Parliament was built by our megalomaniac, brutal, communist dictator Ceaușescu in times of extreme economic hardship. There were severe shortages caused by the socialist planned economy failing, people were barely able to eat during this time. And Ceaușescu was spending huge resources to build this so-called "People's building" to basically be his new office. He destroyed an entire neighbourhood of beautiful, interbelic houses, each with its own story, and a family who was owing it. They kicked those families out on short notice before demolishing their homes (because, in socialism, there's no respect for private property). Some ended up committing suicide. Architecturally, there's really nothing so beautiful or innovative about that building, except for being very, very large, and expensive to maintain. So maybe you can understand why some locals, especially those who lived during those times, resent it. Socialism is a horrible ideology that sounds good in theory but always ends up destroying people's lives and the economy when it takes full control.
Romania, 🇹🇩 here. I might be accused of being biased for what I will write as follow. Its ok. I can take it:) România is such an underrated travel destination for travellers. Over the last years, thanks to TH-cam, I ve seen a lot of videos of foreign travellers about their experience in Romania. All were AMAZED. I remember that an american couple which came to Romania, which usualy make a video of pros and cons about the travel experience they had. Oh, well, for Romania trip couldnt find any cons. Also, most our foreign travellers enjoy our food. It might not be as mediteranean as in Greece, Italy or Spain, its more Hardy, for cold season, but its very much liked. Wyatt and Reyka, I can assure you , that no matter how many countries You will travel after you leave România, YOU WONT FIND nothing similar to Papanași. Romania is quite a large country, in this 13 days You ve just scratch the surface. You havent been to some other beautiful places like : Oradea, Constanta (sea side of Romania) , Sibiu, Iași , Timișoara, Bucovina and Maramureș. Most of the foreign travellers after they came once to România, they return. :) Upon your return, You will find a better Romania, in all senses and purpose. Until that day, travel safe and enjoy life. While you travel around the world, spread good words about Romania, we need it. Best regards, Daniel from Maramureș. PS next time you will return to România, try Rădăuțeană Soup.
America is still a young country. While we have our list of places which are fascinating, we don't have the buildup of beautiful monuments, churches, castles, and other amazing structures that have been constructed over millennia like Romania has. There are other countries in Europe like this, but Romania and its neighbors seem to have friendlier people, an intact community, and lower costs. Mămăligă, like polenta, is said to be a direct descendant of what Roman soldiers ate very often. It used to be made with millet (another cereal), but eventually corn took over as the main ingredient after it was brought to Europe from the Americas.
@@WyattandReykafrom Wikipedia: As it is known today, polenta derives from earlier forms of grain mush (known as puls or pulmentum in Latin) that were commonly eaten since Roman times. Before the introduction of corn (maize) from America in the 16th century,[8] it was made from starchy ingredients such as farro, chestnut flour, millet, spelt, and chickpeas.[9] Specifically for the Romanian variety, also from Wikipedia: Roman influence Historically, porridge is the oldest form of consumption of grains in the whole of humanity, long before the appearance of bread. Originally, the seeds used to prepare slurries were very diverse as millet or einkorn. Before the introduction of maize in Europe in the 16th century A.D., mămăligă had been made with millet flour, known to the Romans as pulmentum.

That hungarian king, Matthias Corvinus was son of a romanian Voievod( ruler) and regent of Transylvania called Ioan de Hunedoara. All romanians, whitch was majority in Transylvania for centurys, the austro-hungarian empire try to assimilate them by forced starting by changing names in hungarian names.

Eating what the romans ate! So neat!! 🥰
@@WyattandReykafrom Wikipedia: As it is known today, polenta derives from earlier forms of grain mush (known as puls or pulmentum in Latin) that were commonly eaten since Roman times. Before the introduction of corn (maize) from America in the 16th century,[8] it was made from starchy ingredients such as farro, chestnut flour, millet, spelt, and chickpeas.[9]
Specifically for the Romanian variety, also from Wikipedia:
Roman influence
Historically, porridge is the oldest form of consumption of grains in the whole of humanity, long before the appearance of bread. Originally, the seeds used to prepare slurries were very diverse as millet or einkorn.
Before the introduction of maize in Europe in the 16th century A.D., mămăligă had been made with millet flour, known to the Romans as pulmentum.
Polenta is done with corn. Corn was imported from the Americas after Europeans "discovered it". Saying the Romans had polenta is really stupid
Thanks For Visiting Our Country😁
You can say "Mersi" instead of "Multumesc", it's easier.
Thank you! 🙏
Too informal and borrowed from french. “Multumesc” is the better version when dealing with people you’ve never met before
Thank you for showing the world the beauty of România! You’re welcome to come back anytime!
Hello from Bucharest ❤
Bucharest is amazing! Would love to stop there again. Amazing city!
@@WyattandReyka 😂 except for the drivers
Thanks for this amazing video, I'm so proud that you guys appreciated Romania and my hometown Bucharest
So glad you enjoyed. Love Romania 🥰🙏☺️🇷🇴
Fun fact, King Charles III (current UK king) is a direct descendant of Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler).
Actually his grandfather, Mircea cel Bătrân 😉

Bella la mia Romania ❤
Very beautiful!! 😍
As a romanian and from belgium, this is my favourite vid ever. They have really good food❤.
I have to go to work but I don't do it yet because I have to watch a few minutes of this video. I know, I repeat myself, I live in Bucharest since I was born. I know all the places shown by you and your way of presentation makes me I think I'm a big fool because I didn't realize what a beautiful city I have. maybe it's the habit. I often pass by LUCA, I have one right across the street from the apartment where I live. believe me, I saw you, [guy, don't forget, Rams is very close to your team] with what appetite you ate that pretzel with cheese, you convinced me to try it too. what irony, I had to see an American for that. ;;Alright, alright, alright;; as a charismatic Texan says, I'll stop here for the moment, tomorrow morning I'll watch the rest of this video. ok, I ran away, thank you very much and have a nice evening. bye.
Hope you enjoyed our video eventually!! Cheers friend!! We miss Romania a lot haha 🥰🇷🇴
Super job, guys, you made me miss my country again. I wish I were so young like you, and be able to go and visit all around:-)! Thank you so much!

It was our pleasure!! Thanks for having us 🥰🙏
That hungarian king, Matthias Corvinus was son of a romanian Voievod( ruler) and regent of Transylvania called Ioan de Hunedoara. All romanians, whitch was majority in Transylvania for centurys, the austro-hungarian empire try to assimilate them by forced starting by changing names in hungarian names.
Thank you for teaching us that. We did not know! Cheers 🥰🇦🇹
I thing I would like to highlight. I have visited Bran Castle when I was like 12 years old and there was no queue whatsoever. I am now 29 years old and I cannot believe how popular Romania has become. Maybe one day I will return to this beautiful country of mine. Thank you for portraying Romania the way it deserves. Quality content. Hats off to you guys.
No queue! Crazy! Yeah it’s so popular today haha.
Cheers and glad you enjoyed our content 🥰

Well, this is a great video and it is also a great pleasure for me, and for all of us romanians, to see you guys having a good time visiting our country!
But i can tell you that in your 13 days you were able to see only the tip of the iceberg.
Anyway, You will be both of you more than welcome to visit us again! I saw all the recommendations of people’s comments, and you should definitely check them out. Wish you the best!
Love you guys, Happy Christmas 🎄 hohoho 🎅
Thank you so much!! ☺️ we absolutely loved making this one and can’t wait to return 🥰
You guys are just... crazy!!! In a good way. Very big THANK YOU for your video and shame on me! As a Romanian living abroad, I hope to have enough time in this life to properly visit my own country. Days or weeks are not enough. You need months or even years to slowly get to the bottom of every wonderful place that Romania has. Thanks!!!
Your comment made us smile!! Thank you! 🙏 you are very kind! We are so glad you enjoyed the video and can’t wait to return to Romania to visit all the many more sites it has to offer ☺️

Yet another great video.
Love the high energy and good vibes like your other videos but the highlight of this video has to be 1:11:17 - Looks like they're building a building here.

I saw you went to Austria. Been there three times but I'm sure you'll make me visit again soon.
Your videos helped me realize I don't appreciate my country enough.
@@WyattandReyka
There's nothing to it, you are obviously fine people and anyone should be honored to have you as guests. You are high-energy and have very positive vibes. It's like the nature responded to your way of being because you had nice weather for this time of year. Autumn in Romania is usually gray and gloomy but you brought light, joy and color to it.
I just wish you could've stayed longer.
i am a romanian and im saying that u should go too timișoara next bc its amaizing!❤❤❤ and there in timișoara is even a chocolade dubai one the store name is șandra!❤
1 hour and 38 minutes? Ufff, I'm gonna fall asleep as I'm already tired, but hey, I'm so glad you enjoyed the staying in my homeland ❤

you guys just made my day, always smiling, all that good vibe, i really doubt you didn't have any not-so-best experiences during your whole stay (we do have some rather dark spots, especially in our populationscape, i'm a bucharest local so i'd know), but you chose not to whine about them, i'd almost say you's just too nice for this place :)
You are so sweet oh my word! 🥰
Haha we can’t wait to come back and explore more places. Romania will always hold a special place in our heart ☺️
Thank you very much .
