U.Ji, obviously! Her technique is pretty nice, she consistently supports Eb3/E3-C#5/D5-F5. However, Solji's performances are also great because of her emotion and her technique is decent as she supports G3-C5. Anyway, I love both of them❤

This is old but I watch Solji teach someone how to hit a note. Very easy going a technically correct. Person hit note clear in 3 tries (so cool.) I hear Solji was Uji's vocal coach. She did a great job. I see comments that Solji sings with her soul, well she's a great singer but I haven't been shook by her songs. UJi with BESTie sang Autumn Leaves? and stabbed my heart. One of The Best Korean songs sang. We all have opinions, go listen to The song. The winners are always Us. #staywell.

Everyone says they can hear strain in Solji's voice. You can hear it in Uji's to especially F5 and on. Solji lower has more support but of course everyone focuses on higher notes since thats what kpop mainly consists of. Their close but Solji wins it.
The vibrato of Soul.G is wonderful the vocal extension of it is well superior to what has been shown. Because cutting the video before it finishes the note, cut several times. The technique of Soul is superior to her vocal modulation is professional.

I love both Solji & Uji but if I have to choose the better one, I'll choose Solji. her low notes are very stable, not only is she good at singing low notes, she's fabulous at hitting high note as well. She can hit G#6 and even higher! I'm not denying the fact that Uji herself is a wonderful singer as well. BUT remember, she is a former student of Solji's, when she was a member of EXID. To talk about their singing skills? Solji debuted in 2006 and she was trained very well before. So she completely has more chance and experience to use all technical in her singing than Uji. Heo Solji, she has been the main vocal and Vocal Trainer of EXID for a reason. Surely Solji is not the best vocal in Kpop industry. But one thing for sure, Uji can't surpass Solji yet, both technically and emotionally, at least for now.

Tuấn Việt Tari well then let's talk about each of those, both are "stable" even though that's not a good word when talking about vocals (see KpopVocalAnalysis video), both are quite agile even though a lot of their runs are messy, as long as someone doesn't produce a fake vibrato that isn't really a good show of technique- both Uji and solji produce a solid and healthy vibrato, onto resonance - both produce resonance up to the same point consistently C5/C#5 so their about the same there, for placement it's the same point, however Uji has healthier and better placement on her lower notes so she wins over solji there, and what is "controlling the stable voice", if we're talking about stability again there's no point, it's useless and doesn't mean anything. Technically speaking Uji is a better vocalist than Solji, although they are pretty similar, Uji just has a better lower register with support to E3, a better mixed register, and even a better head voice as she supports it to F5 whereas Solji doesn't use a head voice, Uji has slightly better resonance, placement, mixing and everything just makes her a better vocalist :)

SOLJI FOR THE WIN. I love both Solji & Uji but if I have to choose the better one, I'll choose Solji. her low notes are very stable, not only is she good at singing low notes, she's fabulous at hitting high note as well. She can hit G#6 and even higher! I'm not denying the fact that Uji herself is a wonderful singer as well. BUT remember, she is a former student of Solji's, when she was a member of EXID. To talk about their singing skills? Solji debuted in 2006 and she was trained very well before. So she completely has more chance and experience to use all technical in her singing than Uji. Heo Solji, she has been the main vocal and Vocal Trainer of EXID for a reason. Surely Solji is not the best vocal in Kpop industry. But one thing for sure, Uji can't surpass Solji yet, both technically and emotionally, at least for now.
Tuấn Việt Tari We cannot discredit the fact that Solji may have taught Uji in the past, but with your statements about emotion that is a subjective point, some people may find that Uji has a more emotional voice to them... And if we have to talk technique Uji is actually better than Solji, Uji supports E3-D5 consistently whereas Solji supports G3-C5, as you can see there's a noticeable difference between the two, this comment wasn't meant to offend or be nasty but it was just stating facts :)
Some people find that Uji has emtion but ALMOST people admit that Solji's emotion is better. Solji's voice is thicking and controling when she sings and she also put her emotion into. Her voice has soul, technical and emotion. So if you have a vocal range higher that's you have a better technical? That's impossible men!!
Tuấn Việt Tari That range I stated was their supported range, not their full vocal range, their full vocal ranges are pretty similar but Uji has a big supported range, therefore she's a better technical singer.
Excuse me, "TECHNICAL" is not just "SUPPORTED RANGE", there are many things as stability, agility, vibrato, projection, resonance, placement, controlling the stable voice and so much more, that's not only "SUPPORTED RANGE" so you can't just talk about "SUPPORTED RANGE" to tell that Uji's technical is better than Solji, that's so nonsense and funny.
Tuấn Việt Tari well then let's talk about each of those, both are "stable" even though that's not a good word when talking about vocals (see KpopVocalAnalysis video), both are quite agile even though a lot of their runs are messy, as long as someone doesn't produce a fake vibrato that isn't really a good show of technique- both Uji and solji produce a solid and healthy vibrato, onto resonance - both produce resonance up to the same point consistently C5/C#5 so their about the same there, for placement it's the same point, however Uji has healthier and better placement on her lower notes so she wins over solji there, and what is "controlling the stable voice", if we're talking about stability again there's no point, it's useless and doesn't mean anything. Technically speaking Uji is a better vocalist than Solji, although they are pretty similar, Uji just has a better lower register with support to E3, a better mixed register, and even a better head voice as she supports it to F5 whereas Solji doesn't use a head voice, Uji has slightly better resonance, placement, mixing and everything just makes her a better vocalist :)

I think the Solji color voice is more interesting, but the support of these Uji high notes is unbelievable. So then in this area I will vote in Uji, but Solji will always be the number 1 of my heart

Solji really better. She use nasal cavity to sing, the another girl vocal really plain and strain in high belt.
Many ppl didn't know how to sing by nasal without tense vocal cord, so thats why Solji was Uji's trainer.

Both are extremely talented and I don’t wanna say one is better than the other because they’re both really good vocalists. But as someone who likes EXID, It’s clear that Uji is more stable, has better technique and has a wider range. She can hit notes so effortlessly without strain, Solji can hit high notes too, but it’s evident that she strains her voice. This is coming from someone who takes lessons on vocals.
This isn’t one of those discussions where people can argue about who’s better, Uji can just do more with her voice than Solji can. That’s a fact and will remain a fact. If you’re pressed about my comment, stay pressed because it’s the truth.
