Hey buddy! Crime documentaries are also my favorite. The latest video is quite ambitious; you should watch it. Don't hold back your comments; let's discuss this story together. Stay healthy!

Heh, that "handheld" Tek scope looks like a re-conjubulated TDS-210, that they slapped into a different form factor, and somehow made LARGER than the original! God those things have the SLOWEST LCD screens in the history of LCD screens!

Yes it pretty much a TDS-210 that truly isolated but definitely reminds me of the TDS-210 LCD definitely was slow and pretty much looks the same as the TDS-210 LCD

@@thetechgenie7374 Those were pretty much the scopes we had in every undergrad EE lab in University. I'm not overly fond of them, but still better than my most hated scope of all time, an InfiniiVision running windows 98 - UGH - talk about a nice scope (1GHz bandwidth) totally ruined by a slow UI, and impossible to even use USB keys in because it was win98 based.

@@gorak9000 I remember the HP’s we had at the lab when going to the university and used an early HP DSO and Tektronix hybrids Analog/DSO multiplex at work for years. Yes they were very slow shame as they were actually decent as far as performance. My all time personal favorite as far as early DSO’s was the Lecroy WavePro 950 and Tektronix TDS 784C/D back in the day. Both were much quicker and even better then some lower mid range scope today as far as looking at glitches and complex signals, while low end newer scopes can’t tigger properly on 8 layer QAM signal and etc. HP/Agilent/Keysight makes great oscilloscopes nowadays but back then, buggy and slow. Not sure why they didn’t go to windows 2K which would have been far more superior and was mature when they designed the oscilloscopes that used win98?
As far as portable even main frame analog oscilloscopes Tektronix was unbeatable. They made their CRT’s in house and had tight control over everything.
