Coke Studio S15 the original OG just released this sunday its first song Ayi Ayi, which is trending everywhere. Coke Studio S15 is also produced by same producer (Xulfi pronounced Zulfi short for Zulfiqar) who originally created Nescafe Basement and produced all its seasons including S5 here, he later shifted to Coke Studio from S14 which is probably best thing happened to live music in this century, it brought first of its kind live music videos, diff for each song, some recorded via single shot one camera, live being video recorded in same take as music you listen to them producing on video, visually striking and musically wonderful, all 13 songs were great, including a song called Thagyan feauturing Zain and Zohaib Ali from this song you reacted to, S15 following same concept thou so far introducing new rw takent i.e firat time artists from remote region of Pakistan. It's not bongos is called a Tabla. Our traditional instrument which is one of the fundamental instruments in classical music. Even when it comes to classical dance like Kathak, the dancer dances based on the tabla. Classical singing also involves the tabla. My personal favourite instrument of our subcontinent
Qawali is singing with claps. Main qawali instruments are "Harmonium" And "Tabla".
Qawali also has classicaal notes.
Originally in qawali Singing was used to praise God and his prophets. Bcs Islam Music is prohibited. So They sing with claps at that time.
Later Qawali also used for loved song. And music instruments also get added.

This version of music is called Qawwali and the scatting you hear is called "Sargam" it's Do Re Mi but subcontinent version that is "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Da Ni Sa". The beginners repeat this to improve the quality of their voice and you can hear good qawwali singers doing "Raga" form of Sargam in most Qawwalis to prove their mettle. ❤❤
