The Zain brothers you have seen before. Do you remember the Coke Studio 14 song Thagiyan? They were in that song with the curly haired but big voiced female singer QB. This is a Sufi song and basically we call it a qawwali. It’s a form of Sufi Islamic devotional singing which is quite prevalent in both Pakistan and India. In Pakistan, I have seen it mostly done in Punjab and Sindh province.

P.S. those bongos are called “tabla” and the accordion you mentioned is called “harmonium.”

Hello Jim, I have been listening to/watching your reactions for a while now - always a delight :-). They make me happy and excited as it is a wonderful experience to watch someone from a different background discover the beauty and joy of something which is a unique part of my heritage and culture. And no, it is not just you finding this sort of music exciting or stimulating - all of us who have been exposed to it since childhood still get goosebumps when we listen to this/similar songs/qawalis.
The other listeners have been recommending great music. I can also contribute with my bit :-). Please listen to Kangna by Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad. This one is from Coke Studio Season 4. It is pretty long but definitely an experience!

Kangna is on a different level. One of the most enjoyable things about Qawali music is when the singers go off beat whilst the musicians stay in beat. I remember watching the BTS on Kangna and seeing the amount of work and skill that goes in to it

I think you might be turning into a bit of a Qawalli fan. One of the key pioneers of this genre was Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. There is an interesting video of Jeff Buckley talking about NFAK and doing a rendition of one of his most famous songs on TH-cam. He actually does a pretty good job

@@JimGames There are other tons of youtubers who have already reacted to all of these OSTs, infact they constantly react to every new OST coming out. So it doesn't seem the case with other reacters.

The song also seems like a song for prostitute.
Indian movie also used this song in the movie. The band also slightly change the lyrics of song for movie to fit the story of movie, and Pakistan female singer " Momina" also sing in song of movie version.
