- This is my collection of chemical elements from the periodic table. The collection was started in December 2018 and now I have collected 96 elements, of which 83 are in the pure form. The only element missing that is possible to collect is Technetium, but it is very expensive. I have most of my elements from the website svetprvku.cz.
These are the websites that I bought elements from:
www.ebay.com/
luciteria.com/
www.amazon.com/
www.novaelements.com/ - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Everybody gangsta until someone knocks it down and all the elements get a chemical reaction.
*chill
Lab goes boom boom
I really love this table you made, so many unique samples of the elements!
Thanks
hi
ayo?
I was waiting for this video for a long time, Thanks for uploading it, Loved it a lot
Every imaginable and unharmful thing in existence is In this man's living room.
I like how you did more than just cubes.
whered you get the potassium and calcium
How do you make the display cabinet?
can i use your idea for curium? i can not find any samples anywhere.
How much did this collection cost? And where do you get so much uranium ore! And where can I get plutonium
Very nice collection I’m not sure if your going to be able to hold the last bit in a wooden box though
Great to see another element enthusiast! I’m building my own collection as well. I didn’t know the part about Curium and Berkelium, I’ll have to include that as part of my Americium button. Also, my understanding is that very small amounts of both Promethium and Technetium are present in Uranium ore due to the spontaneous fission of U-238. I have a nice piece of Uraninite that I use for this purpose. Could help fill your spot at #43.
Yo how did you make the wooden cabinet
can u get technetium somehow because I know thoisoi2 has Tc
Jak se vám to povedlo všechno sehnat ?
Keep up the good work
what's the song at the start
how did you get the uranium sample? If it was from Luciteria, how did you get it since they can't ship uranium outside of USA
Back then when I bought it they did ship to Slovakia.
well that sucks
Your Samples are incredible, love it!
(Sorry for my English I'm not a native)
Thanks. Your english is pretty good.
Better than my grammar and I’ve been speaking it for a while…
@@elementchaos4492 hot damn
This really could be in my room someday
How can you collect?
hello! where'd you get the trinitite sample from?
An unnamed website, but unitednuclear sells it.
Hi,
I see you bought from luciteria
I want to buy the full set, 85 elements with display case for $625
Is luciteria trustworthy?
Yes very
6:13 How did you make uranium decay so fast? to make protactinium
I don't know much but uranium-238 has a half life of approx. 4.5 billion years but half of it doesn't instantly decay. Some atoms turn into protactinium and thorium and so on until the decay chain ends or at least that's what i think.
Why is it impossible to collect Cf? Cf-249 and Cf-251 have much longer half-lives than any isotope of Pm, which is also a synthetic element.
It’s not about the half-lives. It’s about how to get it.
You can’t just buy it off the internet. You have to go to a laboratory with real samples and try to convince them to let you have a small sample of it. Which might be hard to do, I dunno.
Hey how should I store cobalt? I’m a little scared it will give me cobalt poisoning. Also can you tell me how to store some other dangerous elements like Nickel or Arsenic?
I have answered you in your other comment, just to add that nickel is also not dangerous if you're not allergic to it, which most people arent.
Wait. I thought you had californium?! In your last video, you had it. HUH
@@westlanderz7813 I had a sample that I thought contained Cf but actually didnt
As far I know, Cobalt and Nickel are NOT dangerous or poisonous to touch or handle... Lead, Arsenic, and Antimony need some precautions indeed like airtight display boxes, gloves, hand washing etc. I wouldnt dare to mess with mercury & thallium, these nasty guys are the only ones i am really scared of! I personally use gloves (always!) when touching and handling my elements/minerals and always wash my hands afterwards.
@@Salonika_82 some corrections: arsenic is more dangerous than mercury because its dust from breaking (brittle) can be breathed in and poison u so it should always be in a container. Mercury is only dangerous when breathed in for a long time otherwise it doesnt get absorbed well in the stomach and doesnt at all through skin. Thallium tho is very scary compared to those two
Ultra rare element production:
Astatine: Use 2 radium watch hands and beryllium together to get neutrons. then bombard another watch hand to get Ac-227 which has a 1.38 % chance of decaying into Fr-223 and that has a 0.006% chance of decaying into At-219.
Francium: same thing as astatine to get Fr-223.
Actinium: Same thing as astatine to get Ac-227
Protactinium: Bombard thorium with neutrons.
Plutonium: Bombard uranium with neutrons to get Pu-239
Curium Bombard Americium with neutrons. Cm -245
Berkelium: You can bombard Americium with neutrons or an alpha particle. Bk-245
Californium: bombard Americium with a neutron and an alpha particle. Cf-246
Einsteinium: bombard Americium with two alpha particles Es-249
Fermium: bombard Americium with two alpha particles an a neutron. Fm-250
where did you get the americium detector from?
Ebay
Most detectors are made of americium. Probably yours too.
@@westlanderz7813 ??
The fact that me to find the Lathanides was hard
When next vid
Onyxmet has technetium, so try that out. And also try to fill the empty slots with something like paper. Theodore gray did that
Nowadays it seems that Nova elements and Luciteria also have it for quite a lot of money but I will have to check out Onyxmet. My current collection: H, Li, B, C, N, O, F, Na, Al, Si, P, Cl, Ca, Sc, V, Cr, Fe, Ni, Cu, Sr, Nb, Ag, In, Nd, Eu, Dy, Lu, Re, Os.
i’m currently working on getting my own element collection and hope to have like 85 or so elements or just as many as i can find
hello, where did you get that helium sample?
Bro where he get plutonium by the way you can grab balloon filed with helium
I would get it from a website like Nova elements, or luciteria.
Plutonium is harder than polonium to be true and you can easily buy helium that was no problem for me Neptunium was tricky but I got it
Onyxmet Technetium is WAAY Cheaper than Lucitera's Tc Lucite cube
Californium is obtainable isn't it?
Nope
@@RussianPals technically is but not by the average person
Where did you get those lead cases?
I think its from lead foil just crumpled up. You can buy legit cases but they are expensive I think.
I melted lead and casted them, then connected it with tin. All hand made.
where'd ya get the thorium?
Ebay. These things cost like 5 Bucks😅
@@simonschemiebaukasten thorium is insanely rare dude
@@jonathangaming7510 metallic thorium yes. But thoriumoxide was used in old Camping torches for quite a while
I found a sample of thorium for £50
It is impossible to have Franceium because it last only 22 minutes
You can U 235 turns in to Francium
Incredible collection update, I love all your new samples
Where did you get all that Mercury?
Thanks. I got it from svetprvku.cz
@@gardenchemistry ok thanks
@frozty harry because I bought it.
@@gardenchemistry is a affidable site? I noticed that the price are very low than other sites (for example Luciteria), there are hidden costs as well as shipping cost? (for axample packaging cost or something else that i don't know)(sorry if you see multiple message but i'm having problem with youtube)
@@Neon-mp9dn svetprvku is a czech website, so it only works for the czech republic and slovakia, but it is very affordable. They have a lot of other things too, like chemicals and compounds and some devices and a lot of other stuff for a very good price.
Californium can be found in metal detectors
Nice video but how were u able to get francium it only has a half life of 22 mins
It is constantly generated from uranium 235 decay chain inside uranium ore
Some advises:
Actinium: Can be created by bombarding Ra 226 with neutrons
Plutonium: Can be made by bombarding U 238 with neutrons
Polonium: Can be made by bombarding bismuth 209 with neutrons, Then it yields Bismuth 210 and then Bismuth 210 decays into polonium 210( Uranium ore only contains about 10 atoms of polonium, This way polonium can be created in micrograms)
Curium: Can be made by bombarding Pu with alpha particles(Trinitite only contains a few atoms of plutonium, By bombarding U 238 with neutrons larger amount can be made)
Berkelium: Can be made by bombarding Am 241 with alpha particles( So if you keep two smoke detector buttons in front of each other Berkelium can be made)
Neutron source: Can be made by placing a aluminium foil in front of americium button, When alpha particles from Am 241 from hit aluminium foil, It releases neutrons
Oh my god! Thank you so much for this info. I will certainly make these things. I have Bk as 1 detector since it itself contains Am. I will order more tho to make the neutron emitter.
@@gardenchemistry ok, Hope u liked it, Actually BK in one detector is almost equal to none, If u keep two Am buttons in front of each other larger amounts can be made, Also actinium one is easy to make
You can get californium from bombarding Berkelium with neutrons then if you bombarded that you will get einsteinium is that true?
@@gardenchemistry Wait you have a Particle Accelerator?!?! 💀
Hi I was wondering is the neutron source dangerous or can i do it at home
Technetium you can get by Mo-98 and Neutrons
Omg it’s thopaz
I forgot to say this but you can also make technetium this way
Fun fact Berkelium is sometimes used for medicine
you forgot semicolon
@@IOSCtoons no it’s not it has no uses other than research
@@WeirdMan8645 I meant radioactive medicines
Like
Technetium Californium Radium Radon
@@IOSCtoonsit’s not used in radioactive medicine either
@Garden Chemistry I found a way to make Lawrencium-257 by putting 5 Am-241 sources into a container (the Am-241 combines with 4 alpha particles) it would only produce like an atom but it's worth a shot (you can also make Cf-246, Es-249, Fm-250, Md-253, and No-254)
if you want to hear how to make those, reply to me.
if you were to make one how would you know you've made one
🤷♂@@ytkerfuffles6429
i mean....
It doesn't work like that. Lawrencium is only created inside of a particle accelerator.
@@SnowyPlayer I guess its better than not having any at all
but, how?? did u collect these?

I love ur collection❤❤
did you get the smoke detector from Wish or sth like that?

@@dr.infinite2182 thanks
u should of done the periodic table song
You can also make Technetium by bombarding Molibdenum with neutrons
Yeah but I dont really want to do that if there still is a way to get it in the pure form.
@@gardenchemistry yes I understand
Do you Know any source of Plutonium like the Soviet smoke detector?
If yes
Where can I buy it?
@@adrianvr2837 well I have it in trinitite (explanation in video). I dont know about any other source
@@gardenchemistry I think actually trinitite doesnt contain Plutonium, just his fission products (primarily Americium and Cesium) so having it like a sample is just a symbol.
So they is a curtain type of old Soviet smoke detector that uses Plutonium instead of Americium, I think you can find them on eBay but I am not really sure.
Definitely this is a more pure sample.
@@adrianvr2837 yeah I will look on ebay. Yes, most of the elements in trinitite are fission products, but the bomb wasnt perfect - 100% efficient, so some plutonium did not undergo fission, so there is some.
You can get californium from bombarding Berkelium with neutrons then if you bombarded that you will get einsteinium
Californium is also in portable metal detectors
yeah, but whats the chance a neutron hits the same atom twice?
You gonna need a strong neutron source for that...
Why are you putting the other radioactive elements into this tin foil can?
Its a lead pig which blocks the radiation.
Dont give up
(The Lr-257 has a half life of only 646 ms though)
Last video you had californium. What happened??
It doesnt actually contain any Cf
Nope
I am a collector myself and when I saw the old video I actually used a US dollar as a californium sample
@@mindyourcube7932 Well I dont know where I got that information from, but then we had several comment section debates about it and Ive concluded that there is no Cf.
Ok thanks for the info
wait isn't Californium possible to collect
no
You can use uranium ore for technetium
Yeah but it's cooler to get an actual pure sample of it
@@jonathangaming7510 how tf do you get pure technetium 💀
@@somenerd2979 I've heard about people having tiny pieces that's coated in a very thin layer of technetium, it's just insanely rare to find and get your hands on
@@jonathangaming7510 that's Tc-plated not pure Tc
@@somenerd2979 well the coating is pure technetium, and it's a lot cooler then just taking some uranium ore and saying there's extremely small traces of technetium in it
LIKE THAT IT IS GOOD
i read a book which had an aricle addressing collecting every singe element in the same place, and it turns out if u do youll destroy ur whole city
Uuuu magical powers of the universe...
they don't fill the whole thing, plus, HE DOESNT HAVE THEM TOUCHING EACH OTHER
You can get a few mg of Cf in metal detector sources, then bombard it with neutrons
These detectors are special and rare, so I cant get any.

rly nice collection, i can give you some Pictures of mine 2 , if You want ;) greetings
Bruh how much gold do you have
The weight of the samples in the table itself are pretty much 0g since its just some fancy looking foil. The gold bar is a better sample.
for the impossible to collect, maybe ust print them out
Yeah but thats not the real elements
also, onyxmet is your best bet for technetium
Cf - Bk249 + Neutron = Bk250 = Beta + Cf250
Es - The same as curium, as they both require hitting Pu with neutrons
Fm - Uranium Ore which contains light actinides with A neutron source
Md - Einsteinium and alpha particles
No - No hope, as you need to bombard Curium with Carbon
@@ThopazProductions I know, but its still too expensive
You can collect Californium easily by purchasing a portable metal detector.
1.25 Just BANANA🍌
Tip: Californium IS IN FACT POSSIBLE, and I searched it up and it says you can find Cf in portable metal detectors and more. Also, Einsteinium is possible too, but it is practically impossible to obtain (because Es takes place in some nukes)
Edit: On your paper periodic table at 6:49, the person who printed it (or made it) messed up the symbol for Fermium. It isn’t “Fr”, it is “Fm”. (And for people who are confused, the one on the bottom left is Francium, or Fr, and the one on the bottom right is Fermium, which says it’s Fr but is actually Fm.)
Californium is possible if you want to die of radiation
