- FEL Garbage Route in rural Nebraska. I decided to leave this video mostly uncut, because I really enjoy how the engine sounds on this truck (2008 Condor) and loved the sunrise scenery. Dumpster dumps can be found at 0:33, 2:20, 8:54, 14:20, 16:34, 22:20, 26:20, and 29:40.
I totally spaced at 8:54 🤦♂️. Before I climbed behind the blade, I turned off the PTO (of course), depressed the emergency shutoff button, and released residual pressure from the blade component. Upon further reflection, I realized I also should have turned off the truck and placed the keys in my pocket while cleaning out the hopper. I don't mean to make excuses, but with older trucks like this one, I hesitate to turn the truck off at all, because once they go off there's no guarantee they're turning back on, and that's a (very) long tow back to the shop.

You bet I can! Although itd probably have to be camera mounted on the truck somewhere, because they don't like us getting out and doing stuff (besidea cleaning truck) at the dump
@@medicalgarbage3575 Sounds great! Honestly for me, seeing the hydraulics working/packing that trash is the best. A view from the cab looking into the body during ejection would be perfect!

Great video! any way your camera can mount so you can see dumping into the body and packing inside? Clearance looks good. Love to see the action of the hopper and the blade pushing into the body.

Sean, I kid you not. Like I think us talking about this is jynxing it but... This truck broke 😭 🤣. Turbo went out. We've got a new FEL coming in so whether they fix it is tbd
Medical Garbage perhaps they should put an ISM in it. That’s nuts! I don’t think talking about this is jinxing it... Also what’s the update on the 07 Labrie?
Still in the shop; idk what's taking them so long. Last I heard turbo was out on that one too, but that was like 3 or so weeks ago.
Could you educate me, what's the difference between ISM and ISL?
Just watching this again, can't get over how amazing this is! How many stops do you do on a front load route? I know I've asked you this before, but can you please do another exhaust video on this truck (goPro hooked up to the muffler), but longer? The exterior shot in the Cummins ISM engine sounds video isn't long enough, plus, as you probably know, the Cummins ISM is one of my all-time favorite engines because of the deep throaty roars they have. Please make this one 2 plus hours long, and start the video off with engine start and some revving, make sure the truck shifts at the highest RPM (especially in 1st and 2nd gear), and end the video with the truck shutting off. Also, please be sure to get freeway action in there too, I'd love to hear this truck at high speed. I want as much footage of this amazing Condor as possible. You know me, the more amazing an engine sounds the better! I know you might be busy with other routes, but please do this for me ASAP. Please let me know ASAP.
